Launch Fun Dead spots
The launch is fun. Felt some power on the last inversion.
-
Launch Fun Layout
I absolutely love this ride!! More than an accelerator coaster, the buttery-smooth “flying snake dive” is one of the best elements that I’ve ever experienced on any coaster. This may be my only ride where “too short,” isn’t a con, but a compliment. If the ride were a half hour, I’d still call it too short because I’d never want to get off.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity
This is a top-tier B&M invert. Very intense, tons of inversions, smooth, and long. I really like this ride.
-
Theming Intensity Layout
Rode it with my 3yr old. He thought it was “just a little bit scary,” so I gave it points for intensity. Also, I’ve never ridden a coaster that goes around two times AND goes through a pumpkin.

Headbanging Harness Discomfort
This ride holds a special place in my heart because it is the worst roller coaster that I’ve ever ridden. The pain from this ride was somehow equally distributed between my head, ears, ribs, and nether region. The restraints are tricky to get into, which ensures that the queue is longer than it should be. But what really takes the cake is the location. To say that this ride is over a parking lot is an insult to parking lots. They must have used a jackhammer to create some post-apocalyptic wasteland which ensures that the ground temp is at least a balmy 120. Just look slightly to your right to see that they spent all of their grass growing money on the Superman ride. I’m surprised that the state of New Jersey hasn’t outlawed this ride as cruel and unusual punishment. I wouldn’t wish this ride on my worst enemy, yet I’m glad I rode it. For when I’m at my lowest, I can look for perspective and think, at least I’m not riding Green Lantern.

I rode this as a little kid when it was Scooby Zoom. This ride needs to look East to KD and splurge on the giant pumpkin.
-
Forever the Beastie
-
This was my first “real” roller coaster after Scooby Zoom and the Beastie, so there’s that.
-
-
Headbanging
Not for me. I only rate this above Joker because it is shorter.
-
Pointless
I did not enjoy this ride and the wait was no laffing matter.
-
Theming Layout
I feel like I was tricked into riding a wild mouse ride. The theming is fun. The drops were fun too.
-
Location Rattle Headbanging Tear it down!
After the initial drop under water, they should have just tracked this right back to the station. Functions better as rollercoaster art than as an actual ride. Still, the location over water is fantastic, and would function well for a new coaster.
-
Layout Rattle
It was pretty rough, but not as bad as I expected and still a fun ride. Let the RMC Wildcat hype begin.
-
Layout Rattle
The rattle is pretty bad. Fix that, and this would move way up my list.
-
Theming Headbanging Harness
I give them credit for the new theming. That’s where the positives stop. What is with this harness? Is this thing necessary?
-
Rattle Headbanging
This is my least favorite of all the B&M inverts that I’ve ridden. It feels like they tried to make it go faster than it should and it results in a lot of head banging.
-
Location Dead spots
This review applies to Top Gun. Not a lot going on with this ride, but the location is nice and it had cool Top Gun theming.
-
Launch Fun Smoothness
Fun, family ride that is a great transition to “bigger rides” for jr coaster enthusiasts.
-
Launch Fun Smoothness
Fun, family ride that is a great transition to “bigger rides” for jr coaster enthusiasts. I rank this over the KD version for the actual fire.
-
First Drop Headbanging
I loved this ride as a kid, but the head banging became unbearable over the years.
-
Fun Smoothness Dead spots
It’s a fun ride that is much smoother than I expected.
-
Intensity
Not a huge fan of these boomerangs. Also not a huge fan of rides where you face strangers.
-
Theming
Top-tier theming, but pretty tame.
-
It gets points for creativity. Not my favorite concept, but the flip is actually very intense. This ride can have long lines, so ride it early.
-
Fun Smoothness
The racing aspect is always fun. Runs surprisingly smoothly.
-
Fun
This review is for the forward racer. Slightly worse than going backwards.
-
Fun
This review is for the backwards racer. Slightly more fun than going forwards, but I’d choose backwards every time.
-
Fun Smoothness
Fun and surprisingly smooth old woodie with historic charm in a great section of the park.
-
First Drop Rattle Theming
The first drop is great, but the rest is pretty forgettable. Also, the theming lost me. The ride is in the Canada portion of the park, right? Are we invading Canada? Why is the R capitalized in InvadR? Is there a DR that invaded Canada? Did the Dominican Republic invade Canada??
