Fun Rattle Discomfort
This is objectively a terrible ride, but I also kind of love it??? It feels like you are on a pogo stick at points, and I couldn’t stop laughing at how uncomfortable it was at points. It’s not over the head restraints thankfully, so it’s not unbearable - it’s just really funny! Definitely in the so bad it’s good category. Some of the banked turns are quite fast though which I enjoyed - airtime is almost non existent though.
-
Theming Dead spots Lap Bar
A perfetcly fine kids ride, different theming which I enjoyed, but let down by dead spots and terrible seats. Worth a ride though.
-
Theming Fun
This was a really solid kids coaster, with some decent theming and a pretty fun ride experience!

Pace Inversions Intensity
I’m not sure what’s happened to me - I didn’t like Black Mamba and I didn’t like this, but I really like Nemesis and Nemesis Inferno… I think the intensity was too much for me, and a couple of the corkscrews were unbearable, especially on the front. It took them so fast and I thought my head was about to slide off. There’s a lot of helixes which made me a bit nauseous also - perhaps intense inverts are not for me anymore.
-
First Drop Nice surprise! Intensity
I absolutely loved this ride which I wasn’t expecting at all, given the bulky restraints and it’s an inverted ride from Vekoma! It’s sheer madness from that first lift hill that dangles you vertically and then also from the backwards release. It’s also surprisingly comfortable for what it is? I kept my head forced back against the seat and found that it mostly stayed in place - there’s a bit of a rattle but I didn’t find it unbearable. I don’t usually do well with too much intensity nowadays but this one was just the right max level.

Inversions Pace Layout Rattle
This has a really good layout, with some big inversions and some good speed, with decent floater airtime in a couple of spots, but it’s definitely aged poorly. I had a headache immediately after both rides. Theming is missing around the track too but I think it works as imagining you are superman flying around.
-
Fun Ejectors Hangtime
The first ride I had on this is up there as one of the greatest coaster experiences of my life, it’s that good. 3 punchy launches, incredible ejector airtime, absolutely LOADS of hangtime, onboard audio, that brake release from the top hat… There’s so many things going on, and all of them brilliant. I think the stall is probably one of my favourite elements ever - it feels like you are there for eternity. If I had to nit pick, I hate queues where it facilitates queue jumping like this one, and the outside theming on ride could be a bit better (it’s passable). The ride also feels a little short, but perhaps that’s a marker of how good it is - I didn’t want it to end!
-
Pointless
I don’t regret doing it but I did feel a bit silly. Does absolutely nothing, but not meant for anyone over the age of 3 I guess. Avoids half a star for the crocodile.
-
Harness Discomfort Dead spots
Don’t really know what this coaster is trying to achieve. Nothing really happens, has terrible restraints and just meanders around.
-
Location Fun Lap Bar
Maybe one of the best purely for kids coasters I’ve ever done? I like the long trains, the location is awesome and quite unique as well. Gets up to good speed in places (but never super fast). Only negative is the sliding around that happens as the lap bar is almost superficial, but adds to the charm of the ride.
-
Pace Headbanging Discomfort
A Jekyll and Hyde one this - if you get a middle seat it’s actually alright, but a wheel seat is hell on earth. Super rough. Coupled with some weird track transitions as well doesn’t help. Airtime is good and some fun inversions. Unfortunately nothing to wrote home about - the location is bland and the paint job needs some love. The lift hill is also so slow.
-
First Drop Fun Ejectors Discomfort
I wasn’t impressed on the first ride and found it uncomfortable, but it got better throughout the day, and I think strangely works better sitting near the front if you prefer floater airtime. Ejector at the back is great but the laterals were a bit painful - some of these turns should have been banked imo. All being said, it’s a crazy ride, with a strange layout but lots of fun. First drop is really good. It’s also an elite dark ride, no lights at all and absolutely flies round - just chaos!

Discomfort
Was a strange ride when it was running, but don’t remember it being too bad. Some fun crazy mouse elements.
-
Theming Dead spots
Very well themed indoor section - I can still recall the music years later. A decent outdoor section too, if a little short. Not bad overall!
-
Fun Dead spots
I remember this one being quite fast when I was a kid! Good fun
-
Fun Discomfort
It’s not the worst ride ever, but it’s not great. Almost comical how it throws you around, and there are some decent moments on the layout to be fair. 2nd ride was much better but my ribs almost got crushed on the first ride.
-
Location Pointless Dead spots
Great views, but that’s about it. Quite forceless and boring unfortunately, even for a kids ride.
-
Theming Dead spots
Some fun theming in here - love the queue line specifically. Nothing much to write home about but not a bad ride at all.
-
Too short Discomfort
Weird ride that didn’t do anything for me, except be ridiculously uncomfortable on the last section. Way too short also. I would like to do a proper 4d coaster though at some point.
-
Hangtime Headbanging
A really weird experience because of the restraints (which are not comfortable) - that lift hill is terrifying along with the hangtime. Unfortunately after that the shaking begins, and it’s not pleasant because of the speeds. I found this much better earlier in the day before it warmed up, so perhaps one of the few out there to do early!
-
Location Dead spots Intensity
Nice location but quite forceless on the two rides I had. Doesn’t come close to Spinball Whizzer, Dragon’s Fury or even Winja’s. It’s fine, just not particularly exciting.
-
Comfort Dead spots
Maybe I got conservative brakemen but I found this incredibly slow and ponderous, at times crawling round the layout. Airtimes were also disappointing apart from a really good moment near the end. A lackluster experience unfortunately that I can’t really recommend. Trains are comfortable though.

Intensity Smoothness Layout
What a fantastic ride this is, squirrelled away in a small (but delightful) city park in Helsinki. The layout on this is pretty much perfect, an incredible mix of elements, transitions and launches, and it absolutely flies round at night. One negative for me is I find it slightly too intense on any row that’s not the front later in the day, so it’s worth the extra queueing time. And the theming is not quite there - the terrain is great but it feels a bit empty. Doesn’t help either that you can’t really see the ride well elsewhere in the park. It’s a better ride experience than Taron for example, but I still prefer Taron because of the theming and overall package it provides. Give this some amazing theming and it would be one of the best coasters on the planet easily (unfortunately given the space they managed to fit this into, don’t think that would be possible). A brilliant ride nonetheless, and well worth the trip alone!

Theming Inversions Location Too short
Incredible how they managed to fit this into such a small space - it makes it way too short but still an enjoyable ride nonetheless! Looks amazing with great views of copenhagen, looks awesome at night and has an incredibly whippy last inversion that was superb.
-
Airtimes Theming Smoothness
I loved this ride - airtimes are great, brakemen are entertaining and theming is something a bit different. It rides incredibly well for an over 100 years old ride as well. A brilliant old school gem!
-
Discomfort
A strange ride that breaks horribly at the end. Fun enough with some good views of the sea and the western shoreline.
-
Pace Fun
Maybe I’m mad but I really liked this one - surprisingly fast in the helix and was riding quite well!
-
Fun
A very decent little coaster, surprisngly intense on the last sections. Only goes round once which was disappointing however.
-
Capacity Dead spots
Dreadful operations and a nothing kids coaster. I think the other three kids coasters are better than this one, even though it’s the biggest! Good views at night though.
-
Capacity Rattle Too short
It’s a bit random for Southend, but I’m glad it’s there. Nothing much to get too excited about, but it’s great having a big ride in such a small park next to the beach! Practically a walk on even at peak times which is awesome! Update: Wow this was rough as hell, seems to have gotten worse. Also think it’s too short!
