This is almost the perfect wooden coaster. I mean, I would definitely prefer it bigger, faster, more intense (a la Voyage), but I have to respect just how approachable and enjoyable MT is for just about, well, everyone. In over a hundred rides, I don't think I've ever seen someone get off this disappointed or upset, it really hits the sweet spot between intensity and comfort. The track is holding up amazingly well.
Great and sudden first drop, with good rear seat air on both big drops, followed by a ground-hugging assault of twists, turns and hills that ultimately take the train to within a foot of the lake surface, making maximum use of the typical ~100' GCI drop. The coaster setting is beautiful, with it traveling through woods, crossing the aforementioned lake twice and White Water Canyon six times. The shed might be overhyped, but what other ride lets you jam to 80s hits while waiting on the brakes?
