Disappointing! Tear it down! Layout
Horrible would rather ride corkscrew then this ride. The layout is boring, its rough, the helix at the end has a g force of at least 3.7, and its just bad!
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots Lap Bar
I'd say the blue side is slightly better. They're still pretty much the same though.
-
Airtimes Fun Lap Bar
This is a good racing rollercoaster with some airtime, but the Arrow lap bars can get uncomfortable.

Capacity Fun Dead spots
Gemini is the racing coaster at cedar point. The first drop has a good head chopper, and you get some good views of the midway, as well as some fun drops and hills. The turns between the hills are pretty slow, but they allow you to see the other side. On some of my visits, it was only running one train, and it’s more fun when they run two. 7/10

Airtimes Comfort Fun
WOW! I went in expecting nothing from this ride and I was absolutely blown away! The drops have fantastic airtime, the entire ride is glass smooth, the slow turns are a great opportunity to high-five people in the other train, the hills all have this heavenly flojector, the trains are really well padded actually, and the helix at the end is VERY intense! This is one of the best rides in the park and I prefer it over Magnum and Top Thrill Dragster. This is the better of the two sides.

Airtimes Layout Rattle
There are some Janky moments I can’t call them elements red and blue are both the same to me.

Airtimes Fun
This sort of feels like if Arrow tried to build a racing woody, but did it with mine train components. The layout definitely feels like a wood coaster, but it obviously tracks a bit better considering the steel track. There are a few janky moments (of course, given that it is an Arrow), but overall it is smoother than most mine trains. There are a few moments of good floater airtime, which surprised me given that it is an Arrow but perhaps shouldn't have considering how it is apparently designed to be like a woody. My ride on the red side didn't race because they had already shut down blue for the day, but I'm sure it would be even better with both in operation simultaneously.

Rattle Airtimes
Bumpy! Not enough airtime or overall thrill to make it worth tolerating the bumpy.

Airtimes Fun Rattle Dead spots
It’s the same as the blue side when dueling, but during my visit, for the second and third days, the blue side wasn’t running. This made it so it didn’t have any racing feature and was just a big mine train pretty much. Both do have airtime and are both pretty janky, though it’s more noticeable for me on this side. Still a good ride, but it’s definitely better when you’re racing.

Airtimes Fun Dead spots
Practically the same as Blue but a bit worse and always loses

Discomfort
Another terrible Arrow ride that you breath a sigh of relief upon surviving and exiting. Cedar Point is now a museum collection of outdated unpleasant rides, with a few decent newer ones.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Rattle
I always love a racing coaster, so I figured I would have a good time with Gemini. I was shocked that the ride was actually as good as it was. The airtime in the back was surprisingly strong, and pretty comparable to most seats on Magnum (with one obvious exception). Interaction with the other train is really where racing coasters get to shine, and Gemini excels with those iconic "high-five" moments. It might not be the smartest idea, but no one can resist doing it on those turnarounds. This ride is certainly worth your time, even at a park with as crazy of a coaster lineup as Cedar Point. 8/10 - those brakes hit the hardest of any ride I've been on

Capacity Fun Duration
Went on Gemini Blue on my first visit to Cedar Point a year ago. Hit Blue and Red on this visit, so I'l give the review on Red here. Ultimately, I liked Gemini on both sides a lot more this year than my ride on Blue last year. I rode with my daughter and another friend/daughter and the joy from the kids definitely had a positive impact on the parents (including me.) There's nothing too profound about the ride, but it's got enough pop to it to make it worth a ride. And if lines were short like today, you'll get a few good rides in without losing too much time at the park (where there are admittedly better options abound.) The Red side was more fun as we remarkable caught up to and outpaced Blue...AND my daughter high-fived some folks on Blue as we went by, which was a really cool moment for her. In the end, Gemini is right in the middle of the pack in a park filled with some great rides...it is generally fun, but even more so if you get to experience it with younger riders where the novelty of racing makes a difference.

See Gemini Blue. Never noticed enough difference between the two to form any opinions.

Airtimes Fun Rattle
The red side mainly loses, but it's still the same ride. Fun racing, decent airtime, still shaky.
-
Fun Layout Rattle
This was my first "big" coaster when I rode it as a kid. It scared me to death. After all these years, it still holds up pretty well. The helix at the end has gotten pretty rough, though.

Fun Layout Duration Discomfort
This has quickly become my favorite Arrow coaster. I love the racing and the high fiving. I think this is one of the smoother Arrows, although it does still feel like a coaster from the 70s. Still, it's an excellent ride and a ton of fun.

Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar Rattle
first drop always gets my stomach, don't know why
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun
Really fun ride with some great airtime moments and a really fun racing element. During the slow turnarounds there is a lot of interaction with the other train, making you forget about the slow speed. It's a little bumpy but nothing too bad. Overall a really fun ride!

Airtimes Fun Duration Discomfort
Fun old arrow coaster, some cool airtime moments, a little bumpy.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Rattle Lap Bar
Gemini isn't really as extreme as some of Cedar Point's other rides, plus it's quite outdated. However, that doesn't stop me from having PLENTY of fun on this coaster. When the ride is barely warming up, the ride isn't really that great I'll admit. But once the ride fully warms up, it goes from meh, to wow. The hills offer very fun airtime, the smoothness of the actual ride makes it even more fun, and best of all, the racing gimmick makes this ride for me. Gemini isn't perfect, as the final helix is a bit jerky, and like Magnum, its lap bars are very floppy, but that doesn't stop me from having fun! Overall, Gemini is a very fun ride that surprises me every time I ride it.

Airtimes Fun
This was the other coaster featured in that simulator. It was as hype as that thing made it out to be! I loved the airtime for a wooden (hybrid, mind you... pre-RMC!) coaster.
-
Airtimes First Drop Theming Dead spots
Not a great ride but basically the same as the blue counterpart, slightly worse and there are many dead spots on the ride going round the turns which really kills the fun of the ride, an average ride which is another overshadowed by the great lineup of rides
-
Airtimes Rattle Discomfort
This side was worse than the blue side. The valleys had some terrible rattle to it, and the airtime felt more rough

Airtimes First Drop Fun Dead spots
Gemini is a decent coaster with some fine airtime moments and drops and that really fun racing aspect. It’s nothing special but a solid borderline family coaster.
-
Fun Dead spots
Gemini is a very fun ride. It doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. The racing aspect is fun, and serves to make the dead spots in the layout more fun. It's not a standout coaster by any means, but it holds up well and you should ride it if you're at Cedar Point.
-
Airtimes Fun Disappointing! Dead spots
A hybrid racer with some good airtime drops but the turns take time and they don't do anything in these points. Maybe it was just my time but blue always won as well. Felt like it was forced to brake at the end allowing red to win
-
First Drop Smoothness Duration Disappointing! Airtimes Dead spots
Pretty disappointing just like the other side. There isn’t really much airtime except for the first drop and it has a lot of slow and boring elements but it is still decently fun.
-
Airtimes Fun Dead spots
This ride is pretty decent. It has some alright airtime and the dueling aspect is fun. It does have some slow boring turns thrown in but it's still a decent, classic ride

Gemini Slaps forget the haters.

Rattle Discomfort
I think I got the worst possible ride anyone has ever gotten on this. It was so brutally rough, that I got off with one of the worst headaches I've ever had. I hope is stays open until I can get a reride, and give this a second chance. But unfortunately, I only have this one awful ride to base my thoughts on.

Love Gemini, hope it will stay around for a long time.
-
Fun Smoothness
A really fun coaster, especially if both trains are running. It's also extremely smooth for its age.
-
I think I just got a bad ride on it but I remember it being rough and not very thrilling
-
Airtimes Fun Smoothness
Always a good midway ride between Magnum and Maverick, SteVe. Gemini is just plain fun. It looks like a woody but it's steel, making it super smooth for its age. There's some great airtime, a head chopper, and a dueling element when both trains are running (mixed bag but it was dueling this time). I'm copying and pasting to the blue side. There's very little difference between the two. Red usually wins by about a second.

Airtimes First Drop Fun Dead spots
Great coaster. And awesome airtime!

Capacity Fun
Gemini is a Cedar Point classic, and I hope it sticks around. The ride has excellent capacity because they run both sides as much as possible, which also means you are likely to duel. This is a fun family ride because of the dueling, lap bars, and bunny hills which can provide some airtime. This ride should stay at Cedar Point, because of its history and timeless family fun.
-
Fun Intensity
Cute little ride that's feels more like a juiced up family coaster. Would definitely be great for easing non-enthusiasts onto bigger rides so you can hit Cedar Point's bigger rides with them later.
