This thing is very forceful! I don't recall personally being uncomfortable with the stand-up seating (although, of course, I understand if others find that problem), and getting the strength of an old-school B&M while sitting-up is genuinely unhinged. Great ride!

    Inversions Headbanging Disappointing! Discomfort

How is this thing still around? I rode Riddler’s Revenge for the first time today, and it was also my first stand-up coaster. I was expecting the standing position to add something unique, but honestly, it just felt like a marketing gimmick. First off, it’s uncomfortable—the restraints are awful, even for someone tall like me (1.84m). Headbanging is guaranteed. Then there’s the rattle… this thing SHAKES like crazy. Out of all the coasters in the park, this was my least favorite. The layout might be fun, but the discomfort completely ruined the experience. People love to hate on Scream, but I’d take Scream over this any day—ten times over.

Light headbanging but like I said in my viper review it didn’t hurt so all good. Intense ride and the stand up position wasn’t as bad as I thought and decent theming too

    Rattle Headbanging Discomfort

What am I missing here??? I made the mistake of making this my second ride of the morning, and the headache it gave me didn't go away for the rest of the day. Atrocious headbanging and rattle, and though the intensity is appreciated, I did not see the appeal of it accumulating in the legs. Not in the slightest. Wouldn't ride again, ever.

    Theming Smoothness Discomfort

Riddler's Revenge is decent. The ride looks quite imposing at the back of the park, serving a huge centerpiece for all to see. The ride has pretty decent theming for a Six Flags park, featuring decorative buildings and a nice station. The ride is quite smooth, however the ride is so uncomfortable around my feet. After the midcourse, the pain died down and I could enjoy the rest of the ride with no discomfort and it was fine, I even somewhat liked it. But that first half was not a fun experience for me.

    Pace Layout Headbanging Harness

First ride for me even though we frequent the park. I enjoyed the stand up experience having not been on one since Iron Wolf at Great American years ago. It's a unique experience and the ride has an excellent layout. At first I thought the harness was fine. I was comfortable enough through the lift hill. Then during some banks I experience major head banging, and smacked my ear against the harness a few times. Now that I'm aware of that I could try to resist that effect in the future, since the ride is fun overall.

Riddler's Revenge, arguably the best looper at SFMM, although I personally prefer Viper. Riddler's Revenge, has a strong presence in the park, towering over Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, and Batman, dominating the DC universe. The stats are very impressive as Riddler's Revenge is the worlds tallest and fastest stand up coaster. However thats where my first gripe comes in, the stand up gimmick. The seats on the trains are practically torture devices, crushing the genitals of any male human being which is a rather unpleasant and painful experience. This is a real shame as it has a great twister layout, filled with powerful inversions. However, if you can look past the uncomfort of Riddler's Revenge, it is a great ride with bits of theming scattered throughout its layout.

By far, the most intense stand up I've ridden. It was much bigger and faster than I anticipated...and long too. If not for the most severe head-banging I've ever experienced, I'd say it was a pretty darn good ride.

    Smoothness

This is a good, stand-up B&M looper. It didn’t hurt and it was fun. It did put a lot of downward pressure on my legs but I remember how awful Mantis was with the head-banging and Riddler’s Revenge was super smooth with no head-banging.

This was my first stand up coaster and it did not disappoint. Extremely intense throughout the whole layout. Wasn’t as uncomfortable as people make stand ups to be but it definitely could be better in that regard.

    Inversions Discomfort

Great layout. Unfortunately this park already has a good floorless coaster so this ride won't get converted. I can't handle the power of early B&M while standing up on a coaster this long after the long walk to the back of the park. Arduous and not for me.

After waiting in an hour queue for a ride plagued by slow six flags operations on a single train, I experienced a forceless layout where I feel nothing but discomfort, probably the worst ride in the park!

    First Drop Layout Discomfort

I rode RR for the credit, filled with dread as the train climbed the lift hill. Maybe this will be the first stand-up that does NOT torture my legs. No such luck. The first drop was great, and then the leg aches and calf cramps began during the first loop. The rest of the ride was an endurance test. I had to walk around for about 15 minutes afterward to get my calf muscles to loosen up.

This is the only stand up I have ever ridden. My legs always feel like jelly when I get off. This ride really hurts and is super uncomfortable. It has the great layout, and the back to back dove loops are intense, but the fact that it’s a stand up really ruins it.

This is the only B&M standup I’ve ever ridden, but I had a great experience. I was expecting an uncomfortable experience, and based on what I had heard that would be the case. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the restraints. It’s smooth, it’s got a couple good inversions, and ultimately it’s a cool feeling to be standing up on a roller coaster. I think if it was just a little bit longer it might start to be uncomfortable, so the duration it is is just enough to be enjoyable.

Anyone going on and on about how much the harness hurts just tells me they don't know how to ride stand-up coasters correctly. Whatever your height is, bend down about 4 inches, then when the harnesses get locked, stand up. The harness will get locked on the next click up, which won't be at your full height. You'll get you shoulders more into the OSTR and have good groin clearance

    Inversions Pace Rattle Discomfort

One of the most photogenic, impressive-looking coasters in the world! If only it rode as well as it looks :) Riddler is forceful and intense, but over the last decade it has developed a considerable rattle. The harnesses are very uncomfortable for men. It’s best to bend your knees to get the harness down closer to the floor of the train, and then stand up once it looks so the groin area has adequate clearance. It’s going to be rattley no matter how you stand, but definitely worth a ride.

This ride provides great intensity throughout the layout but there is one thing I have to say. THE NOISE IS SO BAD. you can hear this ride from so far away and when it hits that break run right after the corkscrew, I feel like my ears are going to bleed

    Inversions Layout Duration Discomfort

I'm probably going overboard in giving this ride a 9/10 but it's mostly out of appreciation for making the most out of a lot of bad things. It has the standard Six Flags DC superhero theming, but the surrounding environment is actually pretty nice with lots of foliage and the station music is an absolute bop. It's a stand-up coaster, but it's easily the best of them all, it's butter smooth, it has a long layout and unique, forceful elements with good pacing to boot. Jesus Christ, Stand-Ups were NOT meant to be this good. Also, here's a tip for men: Don't rest your entire body weight on your balls and blame the ride for making you infertile. Simply lay them on top of the bicycle seat, make sure your feet are touching the ground with some room to bend your knees and you'll be fine. It's not ideal to be standing but there are ways to make it bearable.

    Inversions Pace Duration Discomfort

I’m just gonna be honest, I’m not a fan of B&M stand up coasters. I feel like they lack intensity and just aren’t really worth the wait half the time. Riddler’s Revenge is probably one of the better stand up coasters, and the amount of inversions makes this ride better than most. The pacing is good on this ride, but there isn’t much intensity. Overall, just a decent coaster, but if you love stand up coasters you will love this ride. Wouldn’t ride if the line is long and the restraints aren’t very comfortable. I feel like stand up coasters are just pointless and don’t really have any positives specifically to the stand up feature.

This ride is SO LOUD!! You can hear it from pretty much anywhere in the park, and when you’re close to it, it’s deafening. It might only be because I’m tall (6’4”), but this ride is very painful for me. When I get off, my legs are very, very sore. This would probably be a lot better as a floorless coaster.

    Inversions Discomfort Intensity Lap Bar

This coaster was awful. Starting from the super loud rattle this coaster gives all the way to the blaring loud music in the station, not a fun way to start off your coaster experience. The seats are comfy until you're actually on the track, the inversions are neat but the problem is if, you're a guy, your groin area gets beat to a bloody pulp. You will also notice that I put intensity as a negative. Intensity is normally something I love in coasters, but on Riddlers Revenge, the intensity meant that you got beat to a bloody pulp, and it feels a lot worse when your legs are jelly while standing up instead of sitting down. Tear this ride down, or at least give it the floorless treatment. I rode a coaster with an almost identical layout, Kumba, and loved it! On that ride, the intensity was enjoyable because of the sitting down position. Stand ups should be for smaller coasters with more twists and turns then inversions.

    Intensity Layout Discomfort

One of the better B&M layouts out there imo. Very good use of space and choice of elements. The ride is very forceful but sadly it’s too big to be a stand-up. I enjoyed the ride but at a certain point these big intense elements start to push on your legs. I think if this was a sit down it’d be up there with Kumba but the trains hold it back.

Pace Layout Duration Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!

This was the first stand-up coaster that I rode, and it unfortunately established my distaste for this model. I will also preface by saying I've ridden this and other Standups many times, but the issues always persist. The layout of Riddler's Revenge is typical for a B&M but it interacts well with the scenery it is placed in. The pacing is very strong, but that is where my problems start as well... Unlike other people, I don't really have issues with the ball busting or the headbanging, as those are nothing compared to what my legs feel. At the bottom of every element, or anywhere where strong positive G-forces are felt, my legs feel like they are being squeezed by a hydraulic press, and the pain is almost unbearable. It's low blood pressure that causes this, as standing up allows all the blood to pool in your legs, creating pressure and pain. It's unfortunate Magic Mountain already has Scream, because I would love for this ride to be converted to a floorless. It is unfortunate that my anatomy restricts me from enjoying intense stand-ups, but there's not much I can do.

    Smoothness Layout Pointless

Riddler's Revenge in itself is a good coaster. But what the heck were they trying to achieve by making riders stand up? I really not enjoyed this aspect of the ride, up to the point it ruined my experience with it. I was expecting something more uncomfortable and I was pleasantly surprised by its comfort. But it is still a kind of coaster that makes absolutely no sense to me.

Riddler's Revenge is an absolutely outstanding stand-up coaster. It lacks any headbanging. It's super long. All the inversions are fun. I found the restraints pressed down hard on my shoulders, but that was a pretty minor inconvenience for an incredible coaster.

I've heard that is an astonishing ride compared to other stand-up coasters. I've only been on this stand-up coaster, so I'm dreading riding the rest of the stand-up coasters this cruel world has to offer.

    Inversions Nice surprise! Smoothness

An astonishingly smooth standing coaster that's surprisingly a pleasure to ride. As poor as the reputation for standing coasters as a whole is, this one is probably safe from a floorless conversion. Not only is it truly remarkably butter-smooth, but Magic Mountain already has a floorless Scream! just a hop skip and jump away. Even if you well and truly hate standing coasters, I would still honestly recommend Riddler's Revenge with enthusiasm; as long as you adjust your restraint correctly at the station, it really is possibly the best standing coaster ride you can get.
