Fun
This was the first coaster I ever rode at cedar point and it is a classic. Nothing stands out too much. Fun woodie that still runs decently smooth despite its age.

Headbanging Disappointing! Tear it down!
Ugh... I freaking hate this blue abomination that killed millions of innocent trees just to this blue piece of crap could be erected from the pits of heck. Oh Blue Streak! Or, Blue Stroke, or Blue Shriek, or Blue Freak, What do I say? Um... This ride is the ROUGHEST COASTER I'VE EVER RIDDEN! How on earth! Do people complain about Magnum XL-200 being rough! WHEN THIS PIECE OF CRAP GETS A PASS! LITERALLY! EVERY! SINGLE! PART! OF! THIS! STUPID! RIDE! IS! BONE! SHATTERING! ROUGH! Not to mention, this ride delivers absolutely no forces other than pain. Also, the seats and lap bars on this ride are ABYSMAL as well, even worse than Magnum and Gemini! Internet, Coaster Enthusiasts, General Public, please don't listen to these people. Avoid this piece of crap at all costs. Please Cedar Point, might I ask, why would you close two great roller coasters, and keep this abomination still standing. Cedar Fair Management! TEAR IT DOWN! I don't give a crap if this is your oldest operating coaster Cedar Point! You're oldest coaster has closed MULTIPLE TIMES! Switchback Railway! Leap the Dips! Racer! ALL GONE! So why not tear this ride down! It's not like anyone likes it anyways! Of all the bad/mediocre coasters at Cedar Point, this, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, Raptor, Valravn, and Iron Dragon, THIS is BY FAR the worst one! In fact! Blue Freak is the SINGLE! WORST! COASTER! I have EVER RIDDEN! In fact, if I COULD, this ride would have gotten absolutely NO STARS! This coaster is SO BAD that it quite literally almost made me hate wooden coasters. I don't go to Kennywood anymore that much and wooden coasters are rather rare. In fact, if not for Comet and Lightning Racer, I would've permanantely hated wooden coasters ALL BECAUSE OF THIS PIECE OF CRAP! And don't even think about retracking this pile of crap! This coaster is SO rough and SO beyond repair that there is NO hope of doing refurbishments to it. All we can do is just let it sit here, continuously torturing guests while the cool rides like Top Thrill Dragster are all gone. Dear Cedar Point, if you have the guts to demolish Top Thrill Dragster without any final rides, then you NEED to tear this ride down! I hope this ride gets destroyed by a wildfire without ANY! Final rides! Cedar Point! TEAR! IT! DOWN! Down! down! down!

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Discomfort Layout Lap Bar
This coaster definitely feels like it has had better days. If they retracked it and bought back the buzz bars, this would be one of the better coasters at the park. It’s very rough in some spots, especially the turnaround. But the airtime is some of the best out there.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Smoothness Discomfort Lap Bar
I feel like people are too harsh about Blue Streak. The first time I rode it, I thought to myself, yeah okay that's a one and done sort of ride. But I re-rode it on my last visit and was surprised by how fun of a ride it actually is. I had a night ride when there was no wait and the lift hill was lit up, so that was fun. For its age, I feel like it's relatively smooth. You do get thrown around a bit because the design of the cars themselves isn't great, but if you're looking for something to fill your time with because Steel Vengeance has too long of a line, Blue Streak really isn't all that bad.

Location Disappointing! Discomfort Pointless
A stiff breeze could knock this thing over. I'm almost as tall as it.
-
Airtimes Fun Rattle
I knew this ride and Gemini from a kiddie ride simulator at one of my local malls, so imagine my excitement to ride it for real! The one thing the kiddie ride didn't simulate was the rattle, but the ride feels so much better in person than on that thing.
-
Airtimes Fun Rattle Dead spots
This ride is very fun and had some great ejector moments but, some hills didn’t have any floater and this ride had a rattle. But this ride is small, thankfully, so the rattle isn’t bad
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Rattle Too short
Blue Streak was a massive surprise, i expected it to be mediocre at best, and it actually packs in good airtime, and is extremely smooth for being 58.
-
Airtimes Fun Rattle
Just a simple classic ride of Cedar point, nothing special about the ride, a classic woodie which is simply lost with all the great rides at Cedar point, a slight rattle but nothing to cry over, a good solid all-round 'fun' coaster
-
Airtimes
My bf isn't the biggest fan of classic woodies but i think they have a nice charm to them. I loved the light airtimes and slight rattle. The PTC trains are the best, love those things.
-
Nice surprise! Fun Ejectors
A non wheel seat ride on this is a fun and smooth airtime filled out and back trip but on a wheel seat it’s absolutely wild with some roughness that absolutely flings you on every hill and the airtime is insanely janky. A great coaster for its age.
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun
This is a great fun classic PTC woodie with good airtime
-
Rattle Disappointing!
This ride was not in very good shape, even for an older wooden coaster. I got little to no airtime and the rattle was obnoxious. This ride felt very out of place at Cedar Point, and I hope they can do some work on it to make it better.
-
Rattle
I liked the little house at the top, but this ride just feels to old and rough. I think they should do to it what they did with comet at Hersheypark, because that ride is noticeably smoother despite being about 20 years older.
-
Airtimes Discomfort
An old classic coaster which has alot more airtime then you would expect although it is showing its age
-
Airtimes Lap Bar Dead spots
Pretty good classic woodie. The ride is a tad rough but definitely bearable. The first 2 hills have some really strong floater and the rest of the hills give solid air. The restraints also allow you to come out of your seat more. Overall this ride just has a bunch of solid airtime hills so it’s a nice ride but nothing crazy or anything.
-
Solid, solid, solid coaster. It is a very woodie--even when compared to more recent creations. It is surprisingly good. It delivers excellent pops of air on both the tops and drops of the hills. It is rickety enough to be exciting and jittery everywhere--especially the turns. This ups the fun factor as it is no way painful. If this exact coaster were in 50% of the other roller coaster in the the States, it would be considered one of their premier rides. Here it is vastly overshadowed by every other world record breaking coaster in the park that have been built since. The fact that this is as old as it is and still delivers a great ride is truly a testament to what classic woodies were and should forever be. Great coaster.

Airtimes Fun Ejectors
The best wooden coaster in the world. Personal Rank: 11 Sentimental value rank: 1

Airtimes Nice surprise! Duration
This was a very surprising coaster. It delivered strong airtime on almost every hill and had a good duration. Don’t miss this ride, it’s a must!

Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Rattle
Why does everyone say skip this? It's so good, one of the underrated gems at CP, such a good supporting lineup overshadowed by the headliners.
-
Fun ride!

Fun
This isn't particularly intense or a masterpiece, but it's a good transitioning roller coaster with fun drops and airtime and whatnot, just pretty solid
-
Discomfort
There's something about the way the hills transition from curving up to curving down that just hurts so bad. Easily one of the worst major coasters I've ever ridden. I did ride in the back, so it might be better in the front.
-
Only rode it once and I remember it giving fun airtime but was also pretty rough where I sat
-
Airtimes Location Rattle
Now that I know how to ride it, I love this thing. If I get stapled, it is quadriceps hell. The ejector airtime is wild and it's crazy for being a 60 year old PTC. Because it's near the front, the line tends to be longer, which is a bummer, but I usually ride it once near the end of the day.
-
Solid mid-tier woodie. A few good pops of air in there, mostly smooth but a bit jolty for a proper experience that fills a need in the park.
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Pace Too short
Blue streak was surprisingly fun for a classic wooden coaster. My friend had told me it was painful and rough, but I found it fairly smooth. The pops of airtime were unexpectedly good, considering its age and how short the height is.

Airtimes Fun Ejectors
What a fun, classic coaster. I would've given it a rattle for the cons, but that's one of the things that makes this feel so classic and awesome. The airtime is great. Don't hate on it or you'll get me angry. Lol

Airtimes Fun
This is a very nice family wooden coaster, and offers more than you would expect. Although the layout is a simple out and back, there are many airtime hills that can offer some floater airtime. Aside from those moments, the coaster is pretty tame. This has a good spot in the Cedar Point lineup and I hope it stays for a few more decades.

Airtimes Lap Bar Fun Dead spots
A lot of fun and not very rough considering its age. try to ride second to last row.
-
Airtimes Fun Smoothness Too short
This is a fun classic PTC woodie. It’s not rough by any means and there is some pretty good airtime moments on it. Classic woodies are always fun and this is another great one. Isn’t one of the best though simply because of its small size and short layout.
-
Airtimes Discomfort Dead spots Layout
The hills give decent airtime, but the turnaround is absolutely lackluster, and the bottoms of the hills are hell on the lower back. In a park that desperately needs a good wooden coaster, Blue Streak just doesn't hit the mark.
-
Airtimes Nice surprise! Comfort Too short
For a 50 year old coaster, Blue Streak gave some unexpectedly good airtime. I was out of my seat during most of the first half, just before the turnaround, which caught me off guard — as I had not anticipated any reminiscence of airtime or G-forces. Controversially, I would rank this as my 5th favorite coaster at Cedar Point, ahead of rides like Raptor, Rougarou and Magnum XL-200. Blue Streak packs a punch for its older age!
