Launch Pace Intensity Harness
This could change, but I have not gotten a great ride in 3/4 tries. The restraints don't fit my thin 6'2" frame. I can't get comfortable, which is a shame because I like how intense it is, I like the theming, I like that it's fast, small, unique, and efficient. I think it was a smart move by Cedar Point after Top Thrill... I'm not even sure they need new restraints, they just don't work for me. Having said all of this, it still edges Magnum for 3rd place in the park which just tells you that Maverick is world class.

Pace Layout
Had 2 rides on it and one was stalled and rolled back before the hill. Weird. But once we got going, it lived up to the hype. Great ride with plenty of variation in the layout. Great pacing and tunnel launch was killer. Definitely a top 10 for me.

Airtimes Capacity Layout Launch
Same as SteVe and other American coasters i rode this on a Roadtrip last year in the States. And this coaster is my second favourit of this park because the great launches and the inversions. This coaster is more awesome in the evening but as you can see at my cons is the launch. And with that i mean not exactly the launch but the brake before the second launch that i don't like. If this ride didn't brake before the second launch i thought this was better then Taron. But for this park in the frontier corner it's amazing to do. I love it and for me a nice #13 spot for top coasters.

First Drop Fun Layout
What a great ride. Was worried beforehand that I would find it too intense but it was not, just perfect

Launch Intensity Layout Harness Intensity
The intensity is a double-edged sword for me. On one end, it makes the ride one of the best in the USA, and on the other hand, it can be it a bit overbearing for me personally.

First Drop Launch Pace
This ride is so intense, has my favorite first drop ever, and has the best transitions on a roller coaster
-
First Drop Intensity Duration Airtimes Dead spots
i think i got some bad rides on Maverick cuz im not the biggest fan but i still absolutely love this ride, the whip is really good, the first drop is a yank, there is also some good positives as well and its long, i just find this ride to have lots of dead spots

First Drop Intensity Duration Airtimes
Its great but lacks airtime. Still amazing 2nd best coaster at cedar point.
-
Location Launch Ejectors Harness
This ride is pretty much perfect. Always hurts my legs though. But still a great ride and as a 4/21/20 it's my second favorite coaster I've ridden. It's just awesome.

Launch Intensity Ejectors
My only complaint would be the restraints.. but on my most recent ride they were improved and I no longer have any complaints! Maverick is smooth, intense, and hilariously aggressive. The erratic pacing is always changing, the airtime is sharp and scarily forceful, the changes in direction are faster than your body can keep up, whipping you around and leaving you in the dust. The first drop is stupidity terrifying, the launch is exhilarating, and the whole ride makes me giggle like an idiot. The theming really sets Maverick apart. There's western landscaping on the whole footprint, with rockwork, architecture, foliage, and water effects all reminiscent of the wild west. Maverick is the best bucking bronco launch coaster I can think of.

Airtimes Launch Intensity Dead spots
Iconic intamin blitz still lives up to its reputation despite being overshadowed by its neigbour, forcefull second launch, insane transitions and solid ejector, only made better by the soft intamin vests.

Inversions Launch Intensity Capacity Airtimes

Airtimes Fun Intensity
It's been over 5 years since I rode Maverick, so I can't get into too much detail at this point, but I remember having a blast on this ride. The intensity of forces in all directions was legendary and unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. I can't wait to get back to CP to ride all the coasters again and truly get a feel for them.

Fun Masterpiece Intensity Reliability
First half is a mix of distinct, memorable elements tied together by speed. Second half is a flurry of intense twists and turns. No dull spots; the break before the second launch only builds excitement. If a coaster can be art, this counts.

Intensity Layout Duration Harness
Really great Ride! Fantastic transitions, good Airtime, and great Speed. It would be a little bit better with Lap Bars.

Launch Intensity Layout
Incredible ride! The entire ride just hauls through its meticulously crafted layout of airtime and inversions at breakneck speed (including the lift-hill); with the only bit of respite being the few seconds to collect yourself in the dark before you're blasted out by the second launch. Easily some of the most fun I've had on a coaster. If you get off of it without a big dumb grin on your face, you're beyond help.

Airtimes Inversions Launch Harness
Smooth for an Intamin of its size and speed. Overall intensity surprised me, especially the banked turns after the first steep drop. Launch was well themed in the Old West as train went through the darkness of the tunnel. OTS could be more padded/comfortable. Definitely a cedar point heavyweight.

A slew of poor Intamin rides in various other parks (e.g. Colossus, Furius Baco, Cheetah Hunt, Rita) largely meant I ignored Maverick; having done the ECC trip in 2006. Big mistake. Returning in 2019 I found an absolutely outstanding ride. The modified trains are most welcome. The not-lift-launched-lift is a novel addition and means the ride is hauling right from the first moment. The whole route offers uncompromising snap rolls and airtime. One of the best rides the park, and crucially, it is highly re-rideable. (Cough, Steel Vengeance). This ride format is ideal for many parks that can't build up to high altitudes; a shame that there aren't more of its ilk.

Location Launch Intensity Harness
Maverick is easily the best Intamin Blitz I’ve done. It feels like a mini Intimidator 305. The transition are snappy and whippy and send you flying form side to side. The beyond vertical drop is intense and the second launch is insane. The rides use of rock work and water effects is beautiful making it one of the most picturesque rides there is and it’s so much fun to watch. There a very few coasters as wild and intense as Maverick but I do have one small complaint. The Intamin soft restraints aren’t too good on this one imo. It’s not the OTSRs themselves but the bar over your thighs really stapled down on me. It was a bit uncomfortable but either way Maverick is a crazy ride and if I have to sacrifice my thighs to ride this beast I will.

Pace Intensity Layout
When the launch and inversions are among the tamest parts of a ride, you've got a winner. The only dead spot in the intensity-packed layout is the S-curve at the former site of the ill-fated inline twist.

Airtimes Launch Intensity Harness
9.4 out of 10! Surprising for real if you just look at it. I love speed and very enjoyable coaster.

Airtimes First Drop Fun Capacity Harness Discomfort
I know very well that Maverick at Cedar Point is a fan favorite. It’s fast, has a steep drop, and has lots of airtime. Maverick is one of my favorites at cedar point because of its setting and speed mostly. It’s setting is based on western theming and contains lots of rocky terrain and water. My favorite parts are when you pass over the water and it shoots up as you fly by. Also, when you take a brief stop under the loading station, where it launches you faster than it did up the lift. Maverick to me, is enjoyable, but is not that type of coaster where you would put your hands up and have fun. Because of its speed and turns, if you were to put your hands up, it would be a rough ride. It’s not the ride’s fault that it’s rough, it’s the harnesses. The harnesses are not that secure at all, and your body flops around if your not holding on. So I suggest, if you wanna enjoy Maverick, sit either very close to the front or very close to the back and hold on!

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Discomfort
Maverick is my #3 coaster overall. It has 4 moments of insane ejector airtime (including one on the first drop), two ballistic Stengel dives, a VERY powerful launch and punchy S-curves. It has great pacing, the perfect amount of hangtime in the Twisted Horseshoe Roll, and spectacular variety. And on top of all that, it feels like two coasters in one — providing a satisfyingly long ride! The restraints, however, sometimes may hurt as you are thrown out of your seat; most notably on the bunny hill before the final brake run and on the airtime hill before the inversions. Maverick is such a stunning coaster!

Airtimes First Drop Comfort Capacity
AMAZING ride! The (2nd) best at the point, I noticed ZERO rattle (when not on a wheel seat), and the launches are great. Overall VERY intense! Capacity is MINOR con.
-
First Drop Fun Intensity Discomfort
Even though out of 20+ rides a few of them were not confortable, the intensity and amazing layout makes up for it.
-
Airtimes Masterpiece Smoothness Harness
What an incredible ride! Every quick turn/transition is incredible a whips you all over, and the airtime is amazing! The inversions are really good too. Also the perfect length and no rattle anywhere. Restraints are the only downside, as the lap bar part of them staple really easily and can hurt on the airtime hills. I can't decide if I like this or SV more.

Pace Masterpiece Smoothness
Never have I ridden a more balanced and perfect coaster. This ride literally has everything. Airtime, inversions, launch, intensity, layout, comfort, it's got it. This is the world's most balanced coaster. It's extremely re-rideable, has decent theming, and is just so much fun. The pacing is absolutely relentless and you fly throughout the entire ride. There is zero roughness at all, and has a beautiful location. The transitions are whippy, but they don't hurt. Despite popular belief, this is better than Steel Vengeance, and i'm not ashamed to admit I like this gem more. And all at basically 100 feet too! It's just so good. You will love every second of this coaster.

Fun Masterpiece Intensity
This is my favorite coaster. Brilliant layout, placement, pacing, etc. Since the soft OTSRs made their debut, I have no complaints whatsoever. A true masterpiece of a ride.
-
Launch Ejectors
Much hype around this - and left me a little bit disappointed. The first "launch" lift hill is a forgettable gimmick, the second launch is great, though. I didn't like the pacing on this coaster, a little bit too hectic for my tastes and the ejector airtime was too much. Other than that, great coaster with a nice setting (for Cedar Point standards) and twisty turnarounds.
