Incredible setting by the lake. Amazing first drop. Blistering speed and pacing. A little lackluster in the airtime department but still such an iconic roller coaster.
-
Airtimes First Drop Smoothness
Bugs bugs and more bugs. Our first ride at cedar point today. Rode in the front, got pummeled with bugs and couldn’t love it more. Fantastic ride with an awesome drop and other g force features
-
First Drop Lap Bar Masterpiece
one of the greatest rides of all time. I love the speed, the pullout of the first drop, and the length of the ride.
-
Pace Masterpiece Smoothness
How on earth do people think this ride is forceless? Dude, the speed and the setting of this ride is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Seriously, Millennium Force, at least in the front row, feels like you are riding on a dragon into heaven. This ride is also buttery smooth and very forceful. If you seriously think this ride is boring or forceless, then just go fly an aircraft or join NASA. If you go to Cedar Point, you MUST ride is 23 year old masterpiece! It's is a force to be reckoned with. A force, known as... Millennium Force! The future is riding on it!

First Drop Pace Intensity Rattle
Millennium Force is one of the best coasters I’ve ever ridden. I hear a lot of enthusiasts call this “Millennium Forceless” which is not whatsoever. The first gives incredible ejector airtime and so do all the other hills on the ride. And the overbanked turns are actually quite intense giving good positive g’s along with a great sense of speed. And even in the areas that aren’t super intense, this ride is just pure fun. My only issue is the rattle which thought it could be worse, it still does take away from the ride experience a little bit. But even with a slight rattle, Millennium Force is just an all around incredible ride.
-
First Drop Harness Duration
This ride is sweet. Its good in the front row, but then theres bugs. The back row stays on top though.
-
Location Pace Duration Dead spots
Millennium Force is a really, REALLY good coaster. Honestly, kinda underrated to me. It’s got its great speed, nice pops of floater, and a stunning view of Lake Erie. All I ask is for you to just prepare yourself for the bugs in your face.
-
Location Pace Fun Dead spots
The only reason I love this ride is because of its sense of speed. I don’t really mind for the back row on this, although it does give the drop airtime. I just love a good front row ride on this. The sense of speed is unmatched. There’s nothing like zooming past trees at like 90 mph for what feels like the entire ride. And it does give some surprising airtime. As I mentioned, the first drop in the back. The first hill gives a little floater. The second gives strong floater. And the speed hill gives ejector. And my god, that first overbank makes me grey out so hard every time. I do think the middle of the layout is lacking in forces, but it is still super fun to have the wind in your face. Such an underrated ride.
-
Airtimes First Drop Location Dead spots
This rides first drop is great, and the two main airtime hills are both strong and forceful, apart from this the low turns feel kinda forceless, never-the-less the view at the top is stunning and a great ride for being over 20 years old now
-
Lap Bar Location Fun
This ride is fun, that's how I'd describe it. It does feel a bit more like a family ride compared to some other gigas, but it has a great view and location, some nice overbanked turns, and a very comfortable t-bar restraint.
-
Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar Discomfort
Not a big fan of the strong positive g's from the overbanked turn (I fully greyed out, could not see anything). However, there are some redeeming qualities to the ride, such as its first drop, first airtime hill, and sense of speed.
-
First Drop Comfort Smoothness
Shear speed! 20+ years later and it's still a top 3 ride for me!
-
First Drop Location Duration
Millie’s still got it after all these years. I love the first drop, pace, and location right next to the lake. Very fun coaster.
-
Lap Bar Comfort Pace
It's fun in the day, but oh man are night rides legendary. Can't remember how forceful the ride is as it's been awhile, but it's no doubt legendary and an icon of the coaster community.
-
First Drop Comfort Duration Airtimes Dead spots
I love the sensation of speed on this ride going through the overbanks. This ride also has an amazing first drop and the second floater hill and speed hill are great. But this ride does have quite some dead spots. The giant camelback was a major flop and did absolutely nothing. However, this ride does have a bit of an intense rattle on the turns that I enjoy
-
First Drop Lap Bar Pace
Great coaster. Best first drop for me by far, decent ejector on those camelbacks, and most of the overbanks are fun, however the 2nd is a bit forceless. Also so smooth for how old it is
-
Airtimes First Drop Capacity Dead spots
This ride is great just a in between the major elements it's just so dead and the second and third over banks pull no force but the airtime is so good on every airtime hill.
-
First Drop Lap Bar Masterpiece
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, oh my gawd that first drop was so long. Awesome layout, wish the ending had more camel backs like Goliath has @ Walibi Holland, but this seriously is an amazing ride.
-
First Drop Location Smoothness Dead spots
People like to joke about calling it "Millennium Forceless" which does make sense because parts of the ride it just feels like you are meandering. But that FIRST DROP! Its the best first drop at CP. The view of the park, the least constrictive restraints at the park, the length of the trains, and the speed at which it gathers over the drop just leads to an amazing feeling of weightlessness followed by heavy positive Gs. The first drop alone makes it one of my favorite rides at CP and amongst all rollercoasters and I always make sure to get multiple rides on MF during any trip.
-
Pace Smoothness Intensity
fast and smooth but doesn't really offer much to the table to stand out.
-
First Drop Fun Ejectors
This is the only coaster I've ridden that has literally dehydrated me. So intense. And the fact that intensity isn't even one of my pros says a lot about this ride. One of the best gigas ive ridden. 7 seconds of ejection on 3rd camelback.
-
Airtimes First Drop Duration
Incredible coaster, first drop is NUTS, and the long layout is great. Also runs very smooth for over 20 yrs old, the airtime hills feel great too, I think this is my first giga coaster and I want more
-
Location Pace Disappointing!
This ride has consistently been going down in my rankings. Sure it's still a pretty good ride, but outside of a really good speed hill, a few decent moments of positivies and having a great sense of speed, this ride just feels like it just doesn't do much for me anymore. This is gonna sound like a fairly stereotypical thoosie thing to say, but Fury does nearly everything better than MF.
-
Airtimes First Drop Pace
Millennium Force will forever be one of the most fun coasters ever. The amazing view, spectacular drop, great airtime and phenomenal sense of speed with some solid positives make this an absolute blast and it does an incredible job keeping that amazing pace throughout the super long duration. A night ride on this is also something impossible to pass up and the bugs make it even wilder.
-
-
First Drop Masterpiece Intensity Dead spots
Millennium Force is the OG giga coaster, and they did a fantastic job with this one. The first drop is remarkable, and it sends you into an intense layout marked by airtime hills and overbanks, interspersed with some low to the ground sweeps. This ride is relentless. It does have a weird dead spot towards the end of the ride, but that's really the only knock on this exceptional coaster.
-
First Drop Location Masterpiece
This was my first giga coaster, and what a ride it was. It goes incredibly fast, and I don't see how one could ride this only once per visit. It's a phenomenal ride, and the view of Lake Erie is very good as well.
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Airtimes
A giga built on low to the ground turns which offer great intensity throughout the whole layout by using it speed it built up from its first drop. It does lack alot of airtime moments though
-
First Drop Intensity Smoothness
You really can't go wrong with a 300 ft drop and top speeds. This is one of the fastest roller coasters out there, and you cannot miss riding it. It's also a long coaster so the duration of the ride really lets you enjoy those speeds.
-
Airtimes Location Fun Capacity Dead spots
Outright amazing ride! The floater airtime is amazing and the views on the peninsula are too.
-
First Drop Fun Smoothness Airtimes
MF will always be one of my favorites. The first drop is great as it takes you into the overbanked turn. Along with the first drop, my favorite part is the airtime on the bunny hill near the end. It's a smooth, fun ride. My favorite experience is riding in the front after dark. The first drop feels even bigger, it seems like you're going twice as fast, and it's so intense to see the track speeding toward you in the darkness. The airtime hills throughout the ride are good, but I always wished they'd be just a bit better. The airtime is best for me in the middle of the train.
-
What a great coaster. I get why some people have issues with it. It does not have many elements, very true. There is not ejector air, also very true. But what it does deliver, it delivers like no other. First of all the you have to start with the trains. Not as comfy or easy as the huge B&M's for sure, but the open feeling and freedom of only being 2 across without a true, enclosed car is amazing. It totally adds to the experience. In my opinion, these are the best there are. Then the lift hill. Yes, the cable lift instead of the usual clankety-clank of a chain lift is not only unique, but it is FAST. Then it accelerates the train over the top. That is just a precursor for the rest of the ride. Then you get to the famous first drop. Everyone in the coaster world can recognize the shape of the first hill. This is "THE Drop" that all others will forever be compared to. After that...what can I say besides speed and more speed and then some speed piled on top of that. The way it maintains that speed is almost scary. You are still going faster than the top speed of most coasters when you hit the brake run on this. Did I mention this thing is fast. Oh and BTW it is long. You continue to travel faster than most interstate speed limits for well over a mile. Ride it in the back seat at night--epic. Ride it in the front seat during the day--epic. It's not often you get to travel at 90+ MPH in open air with just essentially a lap bar. It is fast, long, smooth and very non restrictive. This is a great recipe for fun. While it may not deliver jolts of negative G's, or flip you around, or any other "elements", it doesn't matter because what it does deliver, it does so better than any coaster ever built before it and better than the vast majority of those built after it. Still a legend in the coaster community for good reason. World Class.

Airtimes First Drop Masterpiece
One of my first coasters outside of my home park and I rode it with my brother. At the time the tallest thing I had gone on was Kumba. I remember screaming during the first drop, running out of breath, taking a deep breath, and screaming a second time all on the way down cause it was so tall. I have great memories from my first trip and my most recent trip with T. We warrior up and love this thing and its history. People who think it's forceless are wrong or trying to sound cool I guess. The speed is so much fun and the simplicity of the layout is beautiful.
-
First Drop Intensity Smoothness
Smooth, relentlessly fast from start to finish, a great first hill with spectacular views, good aesthetics. One of the few coasters I know of that gives me “sea legs” during the walk out of the station. My number 2 coaster overall! It really is a perfect coaster and a glorious centerpiece in the greatest amusement park in the world.

Airtimes First Drop Duration Rattle
Favorite ride by Intamin so far, has a great first drop and all the airtime hills deliver. It’s pretty intense but sadly is kind of rough. Doesn’t take away from the ride experience too much though.
-
Location Pace Fun Rattle
I remember really liking this ride, but my memory of it is waning. The only things I vividly remember are the amazing view, the first airtime hill giving great floater air, and the ride having somewhat of a rattle. Still a very fond memory nonetheless.
-
Airtimes First Drop Fun
Millennium Force is a really good ride with a nice layout, a pretty good drop that gives ejector airtime in the back row, really intense turns along with some grey-out moments, and three different hills with each one giving its own level of airtime: floater, flojector, and ejector. The lift hill also gives some stunning views of Lake Erie. This thing hauls at night too. Overall, this is a great ride if you are looking for a coaster with variety such as speed, intensity, and airtime.
-
Airtimes Pace Fun
Great ride. If you expect I305 you will be disappointed. But if you go in expecting a fast ride with good pace, you will be wonderfully surprised. Underrated in general but overrated by Golden Tickets.
-
-
Airtimes Smoothness Layout
People who say this is forceless are wrong. The first drop has great airtime in the back row. The first overbank has plenty of positives. Both big hills have a lot of floater and the turns have good forces as well. The bunny hill and final turn are a great finale that gives you that last pop and some whip. Great ride.

First Drop Pace Intensity
This is an amazing coaster and actually a bit underrated. By far the best pacing on a coaster I’ve ridden. It feels like your face is ripping off the whole ride. Your eyes literally water from the wind in your face and it’s the only ride where I literally could not see because of the wind. The ride just absolutely flies through every foot of track on the layout. The ride is also very intense too with the first overbank being a guarantee greyout and a lot of underrated moments of positive G’s later in the ride. The airtime is also underrated and is for some reason a lot stronger in the front row, and you can add one of the best drops every created to that mix of airtime. Plus the t bars make you feel so open and give you so much room. Overall I just love the insane pacing and speed of Millennium Force that is unmatched by any other ride with the nice intensity and airtime thrown in.

First Drop Intensity Duration
I've known about Millennium Force ever since it opened- but the closest I had gotten to experiencing it was in Rollercoaster Tycoon. Somehow, I'd never gotten around to watching any POV videos of the layout on YouTube. So going in pretty much blind, I was absolutely blown away by the combination of intensity and yet also smoothness of this classic. Given the train has to be going 70+ for damn near the entirety of the circuit, it's a good thing the track is as long as it is- otherwise, the ride would be over in a flash. While I'm sure the current tallest/fasted shuttle-type coasters bring a whole different level of intensity in terms of acceleration and speed, the fact that MF offers still-very-fast with a long, a truly classic layout is really remarkable. Maybe some of this is rationalizing because Top Thrill was down all day when I was there, but my front row ride on MF was definitely a highlight of the day and all of my coaster-riding experiences.
-
Airtimes Lap Bar Fun
This ride is definitely cracked. It has some phenomenal sustained floater airtime and the first drop is one of the best first drops I've experienced. I think it deserves the praise it's gotten, even though it's not the world's greatest.
-
Airtimes Pace Fun Dead spots Layout
This is an awesome ride. This ride has so much going for it with its very long layout, great pacing, its smooth ride experience, it's excellent first drop, its surprisingly forceful moments, its very solid airtime moments, and its awesome restraints. However, there are some spots of the layout that don't really do much for me such as some of the overbanks and straight sections. However, this is still a fantastic ride that really has it all
-
Airtimes Fun Intensity
I had an absolute blast on my rides on this coaster. Walking away from my 2014 trip to CP, this was my #1 coaster there. When I became a full on enthusiast, I saw the hate that this ride gets, and it shocked me. The complaints about no intensity, no airtime, or a noticeable rattle are completely unfounded based off what I experienced when I rode this. I love the aesthetic of the station and the hype that it builds. The two big airtime hills provided and were very fun. I did not see anything noticeably wrong with this ride back when I rode it. Watch Park Bros review on Youtube, because he explains the sentiment that I also feel towards this ride. However, I do see myself lowering this ride in my rankings when I get to ride it again, just because my priorities for a coaster have changed. That being said, those who give this ride less than 4/5 stars are simply being dishonest.
-
Lap Bar Pace Fun
Millennium Force is really fun. I can definitely see it being one of the lesser giga coasters, but it still is an Intamin masterpiece. It felt like a better version of Superman Ride of Steel. I do have a few problems with this ride though, and those are 1. The two big hills had barely any airtime, 2. The ride has a rattle, about as much as Fahrenheit does, and 3. This is a very low-intensity ride, aside from the last 2 overbanks, I thought this ride was pretty forceless. Keep in mind that that I only got two rides on this coaster where it wasn't exactly hauling, one was early in the morning and the other was after a heavy downpour. But aside from those few things, this ride is an awesome, psychedelic journey through the park and is really close to Intimidator 305 in my rankings, and that last moment of airtime is PERFECT.
-
First Drop Fun Intensity
This is not Millennium Forceless. It's very intense and it has some great floater airtime moments along with a great pop of ejector. Stop hating on it fellow enthusiasts.
-
First Drop Smoothness
My favorite first drop on any coaster. I love how it keeps a true sense of speed throughout and is very smooth for its age.
-
It's very close to being 5 stars, but for me it's just quite not on the level of the very best coasters I've been on. It's still very good and quite intense, especially that first turn.
-
First Drop Comfort Smoothness
This is the only ride I black out on. The first drop into the over banked turn makes me and my friend start to lose our vision for a good 3-5 seconds!
-
First Drop Fun Intensity Too short Airtimes
This is the most intense and probably the best lift hill and 1st drop in the park. I love the open feeling of the trains. I have an extra soft spot for this coaster because it was by far the best at Cedar Point when I came of age. The blue, the music as you inch toward the station, and the sheer speed will always stick with me. It has never disappointed even as Top Thrill, Maverick, and SteVe draw the crowds. It's still a world class roller coaster even 20 years in despite it being short and lacking the airtime that people expect in 2020.
-
Location Pace Masterpiece
Not the best at the park, but certainly is my favorite. 3 rides on it; one front row, back row, and middle. The back row sunset ride was special. Front row had those perfect views. The thing hauls throughout its layout and is amazingly scenic next to the water. Smooth throughout (for an Intamin), amazing ops, killer air, killer speed, awesome first drop, tunnel, etc. Its a complete coaster in every way. If I could only ride one ride at CP, it would be Millie. Sure, SteVe is longer and does all the RMC stuff...but Millennium Force is just a proper giga and a more memorable experience for me. I'll take the speed and those views all day long.
-
-
Location Fun Harness
A very good ride ride but was somewhat disappointed. I found it inferior to the previous giga I had ridden (leviathan). That said had a better experience on a ride further back and later in the day so perhaps with even more rides I would appreciate it even more.
-
First Drop Pace Masterpiece Airtimes
This ride is incredible. It goes so fast, so tall, some places are even pretty intense. I wouldn’t say it’s the best ever built as it lacks airtime but it’s still amazing.
-
First Drop Fun Masterpiece
First time I rode Millennium was almost 5 years ago I knew it was going to be my favorite coaster of all time. Love everything about it. IMO it doesn't have any cons, it's just perfect. 1000/10
-
Pace Disappointing! Intensity
This ride was a pretty big disappointment. The hype for it upon opening had me prepared for something unlike anything else before. But this doesn't have a lot going for it after the first drop. It takes all that speed and does as close to nothing with it as it could.
-
Lap Bar Location Masterpiece
Brilliant roller coaster. This ride gets much faster as the day goes on. By night time, it feels like it is going 100 mph.
-
Airtimes Fun Duration Dead spots
Its not forceless enough to be a con. Its not forceful enough to be a pro. So dont complain about it. Its fun tho.
-
First Drop Fun Masterpiece
Millennium Force is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Floater airtime, positive forces, huge speed and scale, and smooth and comfy trains. But most importantly, the feeling of excitement in the air from all riders supercharges this ride with a level of joy no other coaster can give me. Some coasters drain you with unrelenting intensity, but Millennium Force gives you life. It's like a homecooked meal, a big bowl of pho, or a childhood memory. It's warm, comforting, and perfect in its imperfection.
-
Airtimes Lap Bar Fun Dead spots
Iconic coaster and my first true giga, defintely a bit overhyped but not as bad as others say, insane relentless speed throughout the enitre ride, awesome first drop and mega forcefull overbank, airtime can reach flojector level on hot days.
-
Pace Masterpiece Smoothness
気持ちが良い、生理的に好ましい。 ジェットコースターを一つしか世の中に残せないとしたら、僕は迷わずMFを選びます。
-
Airtimes Location Layout Rattle
Millie is my all time fav. Lots of people can't even get just a little bit of airtime on 2 hills but I can(not every time). The thing is DON'T put your hands up, try to relax and never be too excited for them. If you can feel them, they are the almost the longest airtime duration. or, they just fall into "great speed". I'm not meaning this layout is so stunning, or amazing, but, it is flawless for me.
-
Pace Fun Harness Rattle
HOLY CRAP! Why does this ride get so much hate? I gave myself a little bit of room with the lap bar and I got STANDING AIRTIME on the first drop! Whoever says it's forceless or has no airtime is wrong. A first turn with a grey-out, a first drop with great ejector, 2 other ejector hills and a great floater hill, this ride keeps it's speed very well! There is a rattle, but it's honestly not the worst rattle in the world.
-
Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Intensity
While the "Millennium Forceless" moniker may have merit, the sheer speed that the first giga consistently delivers throughout the whole ride is something that simply needs to be experienced. While she may lack the withering Gs and layouts of some of her newer competition, she's still got some tricks up her sleeve. Millie gives great airtime on the hills, in addition to an insane first drop. Definitely ride in the back for the best airtime; you get flung over the top into the first drop, giving insane ejector air that's sustained throughout the drop.
-
First Drop Pace Duration Airtimes Dead spots Layout
Millie is a corker of a ride. By hypercoaster standards, it lacks heavy-G in any direction, and occassionally is known to us as Millenium Forceless. It's all about the speed and height. Much fun to be had especially at sunset, but there are technically more forceful and better hypercoasters out there.
-
First Drop Fun Dead spots
It's fast, it's forceful through the first tunnel, and it's pretty fun. It just doesn't do anything after that; it's just overbanks and straight track once you get to Millennium Island.
-
First Drop Fun Masterpiece
Extremely overrated but still number 2 in my book.
-
First Drop Lap Bar Intensity
9.7 out of 10! This coaster is about speed and power, not about airtime, but I got some on the bunny hills and last hill. I have always loved this coaster, one of my favorite with the speed and long track to just ride.
-
Location Fun Dead spots
Not intense, boring layout, doesn't do anything.
-
First Drop Comfort Harness Reliability
This coaster is one of my favorite rides at cedar point and one of my favorite out of all the roller coasters I’ve ridden. The lift hill is very intimidating, but after the drop, it’s speed is so fast that tears are forced out of your eyes. I was surprised by the amount of smoothness it had and also how it’s such a long Coaster, but it goes by very fast. This coaster is so fun and legendary. I recommend for a lot of people, if they visit cedar point, to ride this last. I recommend this because you won’t be as scarred because you’ve probably ridden other tall roller coasters like Magnum, so this wouldn’t be a big deal.
-
First Drop Rattle Airtimes Dead spots
Oh Millennium Force, one of the world's most boring rides. If you like rides that are tall, fast, and long, you'll love this ride solely for that purpose. But if you like literally anything else... uhhhh. This ride has legitimately zero airtime, even the flojector hill is laughably bad. I've been riding this ride for 10+ years, every seat you can imagine and I still find it boring. I'm not going to call it forceless, because the first overbank makes me grey out, but I will call the rest of the ride pretty forceless. Even the first drop, which is arguably the best part of the ride has only floater in the back seat. Not to mention that rattle that persists throughout the E N T I R E ride. I don't care that it was the world's first giga, or that it's been consistently ranked one of the "best", this ride is just not a world class ride and has significantly slipped in my rankings as I've ridden more roller coasters.
-
First Drop Location Pace
This coaster is still running better than ever, although the main strengths are definitely the first drop and pacing, it's much more forceful than people give it credit for and has some of the best pure zero g floater air time I've ever experienced, number #3 over all for me just behind Voyage and Steel Vengeance out of around 100 coasters.
-
Fun
Speed and pure fun, not very intense and could use a little bit more of airtime. A classic!
