Fun Smoothness Layout Too short Disappointing! Intensity

Nemesis Inferno is a fun ride, and has a great layout to add to it. It also has a great queue line inside a volcano. However, I found the ride the opposite of intense, which is very un B&M invert. It seems to be over in a flash too. I found it to be very underwhelming. My number 4 at the park, saved from last by Colossus' headbanging.

    Theming Pace Intensity Rattle Discomfort

Saw: The Ride is a Gerstlauer Eurofighter, themed to the Saw horror franchise. First of all, the theming is incredible and the indoor drop and heartline roll are both solid elements. The first drop is also very good, however there is a big pothole at the bottom of the drop, which causes a nasty rattle going into the Immelmann. It is extremely intense, but the rattle and the OTSRs combine for some nasty headbaning which can cause headaches. I did not feel the rattle too much, and I found it extremely intense and fun, so i'll give it 4.5 stars. Solid number 3 at the park.

    Theming Fun Smoothness

Very fun B&M invert. Almost no whip, but lots of good interaction with the terrain.

    Theming Masterpiece Smoothness Dead spots

The ride system on this thing is mind blowing. What Vekoma did to bring the flying coaster into the 2020s is incredible. I was in total awe of the trains the whole time. The coaster section in a vacuum is just ok, but the theming and ride system elevate it.

Theming Lap Bar Launch Dead spots

One of the most picturesque rides ever. Beautiful on and off ride. Great speed on the second launch, and that LSM noise is magical. I like the forces in a few spots, but that’s not what makes it this good. Weaving in and out of that track is an experience I have yet to find on any other ride.

First Drop Theming Smoothness Too short Harness

I love the theming and the smoothness of The Swarm. I also love the first drop, I think its amazing. My main problem is the harness. As the coaster goes round the track, the harness seems to lock in more and more but overall, I think the coaster is great fun.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Rattle Capacity Reliability

This ride is awesome. No other coaster has this sheer quantity of good ejector. Over every hill, there’s sustained strong air. I do wish it had a little more of that classic Intamin intensity, which you can feel on the first drop and s-hill. There’s a pretty bad rattle in wheel seats, but odd numbered rows are glass smooth. Row 13 left seat is the way to go for this ride.

    Airtimes Intensity Ejectors Theming

I was glad for the harness holding me in, because I have never ridden anything else that had me pushing against it like this did ever before. The extended inversion, multiple ejectors, and sheer drops all had me floating. This is the most intense ride I have ever been on.

    Location Fun Layout Headbanging

Overall pretty good but there are some awkwardly jarring transitions between elements that will leave me sore later tonight.

    Launch Capacity Disappointing! Pointless

I waited almost 2 hours to ride this new attraction. I wish I would have spent that time riding Griffon or any other coaster, like 4 times. The capacity is awful, only allowing 2 per row, with 5 rows. There is little they can do to help in that respect because of the way it was built. I rode as a single rider, but with precious few chances to fill a gap due to the low capacity, there wasn’t much chance to bypass anyone in line. When I boarded, the disappointment continued. The launches were cool, but there was very little in the way of vertical movement. The spooky theming elements felt cheap and tacked on and didn’t add much of anything to the experience either. The whole thing feels like it was originally a much bigger idea that was massively scaled back thanks to a Covid-induced budget slashing. DarKoaster felt like a combination of Epcot’s Test Track, with a haunted house from a traveling carnival, but on a very small scale. It was nice to get out of the heat, but if the wait is longer than 20 minutes, this one is an easy skip for me in the future.
