This is a pretty fun multi-launch coaster. The launches are pretty good as far as LSMs go, but not as punchy and fun as the nearby Full Throttle. Waiting for the second lap to start is a bit of a dead spot, and I always cringe when the guy in the video there says, "The next ride is even gonna be MORE epic!" The comfort collars are awful, and it's insulting that FT is in the same park and doesn't have them. Overall, the layout is fun, especially the dueling in the spaghetti bowl section and the little airtime pops.

Unpopular opinion, but this is my favorite coaster ever. Of course, the layout isn't anything special and it's not intense, but it really doesn't need to be intense or have a cutting-edge layout because it's just plain FUN the way it is. The theming and onboard audio are what make this ride so good. The audio is perfectly synced to every action the coaster does, especially the surprise drop in the middle of the layout. The trains on this ride are also comfortable and the ride is smooth. The capacity is pretty good; unfortunately, the line can get very long and slow due to the way Disney uses Lightning Lane on this ride (it has way more of a negative impact on the standby line than other Lightning Lanes do). Besides that, this is a great ride that pretty much everyone can enjoy.

This ride is just plain fun! The layout has a few dead spots, but it also has some amazing elements like the 540-degree helix that gets very close to the rockwork of the mountain. The theming of this ride definitely carries it into being a wonderful experience. The ride is a good length with three lifts and stays moving through most of the layout (with the exception of the section after the 3rd lift). The capacity of this ride is also very solid and makes the wait one of the most manageable ones at Disneyland.

This was my first inverting coaster back when it was still California Screamin'. I honestly still enjoy this coaster a ton, mostly because of its length and the onboard audio. The layout has a lot of fun elements, including the launch and all of the drops. It's not intense but it doesn't need to be, it's meant to be a graceful ride that evokes the feeling of surfing. The steel supports designed to look like wooden ones give this ride a much cooler visual profile and a charm that it would lack otherwise. Also, the capacity on this coaster is unbelievable and I wish every coaster could operate like this one! No loose article bins, dual stations, 36-second dispatch interval,... the line for this ride is always extremely fast-moving. I did like this ride better as California Screamin' because the theming made more sense and the audio fit the coaster better. The new theming is a little tacky for something made by Disney.

The coaster itself is an okay wild mouse, although this more compact version layout is less interesting and less visually appealing than the standard version that Legoland has. Overall, as a coaster it's fine but Disney could really build something better here.

It's a very run-of-the-mill family coaster that would fit in perfectly at a Six Flags park. Unfortunately, it feels significantly under-themed for being located in Disneyland. It's nice that they offer a coaster of this scale for kids who aren't ready for the other coasters in the park, but I wish Disney had put a little more effort into this ride.

This ride surprised me. The spinning is actually much more intense than I expected from a ride placed in the kiddie section of the park. Climbing the lift in one of the backwards seats is also fun. The main cons for this ride are its short length and capacity; if this ride is only running one train as it often does, prepare to wait in a mind-numbingly slow queue. The ride itself is actually quite enjoyable, though.

Hands down the worst coaster I've even been on. It's a copy of the same Mack wild mouse layout at nearby Legoland. However, the Legoland one has a train that doesn't murder your shins and feels integrated into its park. Coast Rider at Knott's will leave you with bruises for months and feels haphazardly thrown up at the back of the park with no rhyme or reason. Honestly, they could tear it down and clone a Sky Rocket II or something here and it would somehow be a massive improvement.

The capacity wasn't great as a shuttle coaster, but it wasn't the most popular ride in the park, so the line wasn't bad. As of July 2025, I'm really hoping the refurb of this ride ends up okay now that the track is finally being re-installed after years of no movement from the construction site.

One of the best family coasters out there. This ride appeals to kids and families without being boring. The launches are actually quite fun and accelerate pretty quickly. The layout is well-integrated with the park and gets close to the water, which enhances the experience. The train and restraints are very comfortable, and the ride tracks extremely smoothly. This is probably the best coaster overall at Sea World despite not being the most intense.

This is pretty unusual coaster, but I find it enjoyable in a charming/quirky way. It has two log flume style splashdowns, a coaster drop section, and even a tilting elevator lift. The coaster section isn't exactly very interesting, but the ride as a whole is unique enough that I can't really hate it. The theming on this ride is fairly good visually, but the audio/video elements really do not make any sense. There's definitely supposed to be a story behind this ride, but I could not tell you what it was. The operations are pretty efficient with a triple station and the ability for two trains to use the elevator lift at once. Overall, this is a fun ride despite not being a great coaster.
