    Nice surprise! Duration

This is a very fun coaster honestly. I was surprised on how long this coaster actually is! Overall it's just great fun, definitely worth the ride if the queue isn't too long :)

    Nice surprise! Fun

Honestly I am not the biggest on spinning attractions so I didn't have too much faith coming into this attraction, but it's honestly quite fun. I didn't have the best spin, but the layout is pretty neat :) I am surprised on how much longer this ride is than its sibling coaster. Also you actually get quite a few pops of airtime here. It's really quite enjoyable :) Also spoiler alert, I didnt expect that hop on the breakrun, that was great :D

    Fun Too short

This coaster is honestly quite boring compared to it's sibling. Fear is quite a bit longer in duration and gives a much better overall experience. This one rates quite a bit lower on my list because of that factor. Honestly, I know they couldn't have, but it would have been better if this were a mobius coaster where you did Force first, and Fear second immidately after.

    Airtimes Theming Launch

I have reriden this since last time (2021-11-21) Back in November sadly I had a very bad experience on this ride because all weight was put on my colar bone rather than my shoulders. This was incredibly painful. If this happens to you too, you have to pull the harness a bit to the side so it rests on your shoulders. This time around I had an amazing night ride in the backrow. And a decent daytime ride in the front row. If you can get in the backrow, I highly recommend it, the sensation of flight is soo much better in the back than it is in the front. It's also not worth waiting to get a front seat. Or if you want to, just do it once, because it adds alot of extra wait time, even if the rest of the ride is basically a walk-on. The queue's theming is amazing, but it's outrageously long. Kinda similar complaint to the big coasters at Energylandia. The walk alone takes about 5-10 minutes, which is a shame. The ride itself is amazing. From the holograms at the beginning, to the flying in rookburgh. The launches are decent, not the best, but having it in the flying position is definitely an awesome experience. Honestly the ride almost made me cry of happiness because of how floaty and dreamy you get in the backrow. Highly recommend and definitely a must do for anyone.

    Theming Launch Masterpiece

I had the most insane ride on Taron yesterday. The lap before me had a rollback, so after a bit of waiting, because of standard procedure (5 minutes orso), we were put on a calibration lap. And my god, the LSMs were soooo much more powerful than they were. The coaster is already insane normally, but the punch this calibration lap had. One word, mindblowing. Taron absolutely tried to kill us. Sooo good. Even the trimbreak at the end did _NOTHING_ and those tiny airtime hills flung us out of our seats. I can now understand why on coasters like Top Thrill Dragster they tell you to put your arms down, because I still feel that launch a day later in my neck hahaha. INSANE, absolutely INSANE. I wish that Taron could have all their laps like this. To add to that luck it was a night ride too! Generally outside these ultrarare laps my ranking currently would still place Taron at 5th place in my top list, but this rare lap absolutely blasts it to no 1. Wow, just wow.

    Theming Inversions

Cool coaster, very quite wild. Inversions aren't exactly my thing as they really mess me up in a bad way xD but it's a good coaster non the less!

    Fun

Solid Family Boomerang. In my case today it went twice right after eachother, I don't know if this is normal, but it was a quiet day. Sadly I was still motion sick from Crazy Bats' VR Experience. This made me feel the last corner in reverse absolutely reverse my stomach, which felt very unnatural. It's a fun coaster tho! :3

    Fun

The main con to this coaster is also its pro. The VR really gives a cool effect to the coaster, but I am already getting wagon sick with a phone in front of my face, so VR on a coaster is just not a good combo for me.

    Comfort Fun Hangtime

Slagharen is a small park, mostly intended for younger kids. This coaster is quite extreme for the audience. It is a shame to had to see thunder loop go, but the park got a neat coaster in return for it. Luckily the park is cheap, because beside this coaster it doesn't have much to offer. I highly recommend the back seat, left wing seat. In the left of the car there's some nice whip at the end of the layout. The backseat has a good few seconds of hangtime at the second launch. This is overall a nice coaster. The ride operators were very friendly! Shamefully that day there were three schoolS visiting the park. The kids kept cutting in line and shouting very loudly. Personally i would have liked there to be better queue management, it's really frustrating to have people cutting in line because the lines are difficult to spot. Also +1 for being my 50th coaster credit!

Riden the old version a while back definitely had a rattle, but it's a classic. Love this coaster to bits. I will post a review for the new version as soon as I have been to the Efteling again. :)

I need to ride more of these, they're really quite fun!

    Airtimes Masterpiece Ejectors Discomfort

This ride is in one word "AMAZING". Seriously friggin good. This is definitely the best RMC I have ridden, overall, but I still had a better single ride on Untamed. As of writing this review I have ridden Twisted Colossus, Untamed and Zadra. The coaster slams into the final breakrun with a wayyyy to high speed, which is a shame because they could have used that speed to add a few more elements. The breakrun is really smooth tho so that's atleast a good thing :P. In the end the biggest catch on is still those RMC cars man. They seem like they are built for a slim person of 1 meter 60 orso. I am 185 (average Dutch height) and average sized. I dont get stapled but I dont have much leg space for sure. My gf got stapled hard, and it doesnt help that ride operators are nasty. They pushed extra hard on her lapbar it seems making it very painful and the ride ops were commanding everyone as if the park was full, while there was literarily a 0 minute queue. It kinda ruins the experience. In the end still a masterpiece coaster. 10/10, but I do want to mention that the experience got slightly ruined by the bad ride operators. Hyperion's ride ops were so much nicer. What seat would I recommend for Zadra? I loved the back row! So many ejectors! :D Front is pretty cool, but I would definitely suggest sitting in the last row, either seat works, ridden it 4 times.

    Rattle Discomfort

I don't quite remember when I rode this. Quite a few years back (I believe 2010 orso), but all I can remember is how extreme uncomfortable this ride was. Fun for sure, but definitely not reridable. It was intense because of its rattle. I do not know if they have fixed this since. If not, I would almost say to try getting a new coaster for it's place. Perhaps get RMC to hybridize and redo the layout. Could always use more RMC's here in Europe. But yea, this coaster was definitely bleh.

    Nice surprise!

That elevator lift is an amazing piece of engineering, seriously impressive. Coaster's layout is a bit forgettible beside that tho.

  • Karst

    Launch Too short

I find it really odd this coaster is in the same park as Abysusus. To be completely honest I would have preferred this coaster if it was as long as abysusus.

    Theming Inversions Inversions Launch

I am always a bit double double on the amount of inversions. It's really fun, but they make me super dizzy and thats not so fun. I personally think they overdid it a bit on the inversions in thisone, although it was a great in the end. ^.^

    Airtimes Comfort Masterpiece

This thing is craaaazy. I love it so much. I have ridden this thing 4 times in a row, no queue times at all today. Two times in the back, two times in the front. The back is quite aight. Love the leftwing backseat. But in my opinion the rightwing front seat is by far the best seat I have ridden in. The wind in your face and being flung everywhere, crazy airtimes. Damn! Love it. Best coaster in the park.

  • Karst

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun

This coaster actually has quite some heavy airtime on it. Really surprising. Enjoyed it very much for what the layout offers! :)

  • Karst

    Discomfort

This coaster is not made for adults. I could not fit in the carriage at all, no clue how I managed to ride it. The entry to the lifthill was really rough. The coaster was barely able to make it through the layout. I had a front seat and I was going down and I was almost standing still halfway the drops. I only rode it for a free coaster credit while waiting for food. Anyways, I am sure little kids will love this thing :P

  • Karst

    Nice surprise!

I just yellled AAAAAAAAAAAA the whole way through and it was so funny to do that. Made the ride much better to do silly stuff. :)

  • Karst

    Launch Fun Too short

There was one small spot that was slightly uncomfortable. It's a fun ride, but it's definitely waaay too short. Would have loved a secondary launch. It's quite an intense coaster imo for the layout which is why I feel it's a tad out of place to make it feel like a family coaster. Still pretty great tho :)

  • Karst

    Fun

Bobsled coasters have become such a rarity. Really missed riding one since the one at the Efteling is gone. Was a really fun coaster, and having a friend of mine sit behind me was a very nice cushion heehee. Fun ride! Must keep!

  • Karst

    Tear it down!

Rode it for the coaster cred, went in with low expectation as i know SLCs are shit more often than not and yet it somehow still disappointed me. Such a shame.

  • Karst

This coaster looks awesome from the road, but really is nothing special, just another old vekoma corkscrew coaster that's slightly bumpy. Doesn't do much but be photogenic.

  • Karst

    First Drop Too short

I love the theming for this coaster, the drop in the kraken mouth and the ship is of very high quality and really contrasts funnily with the shitty ship that's on the other side of the lake. There was no queue time this day and I rerode this coaster twice. It started to rain reeaaal hard the second time when we were just locked in, ouuch xD It was good tho. Way too short tho, wouldnt have gone on this if there was a long queue.

  • Karst

    Inversions Smoothness Inversions

I went in this coaster blind and I didnt realize how many inversions this coaster packed. It is both a strong and a weak point as it left me completely dizzy and slightly nauseous, but that's all okay :P It's just not very reridable right after eachother. Rode this twice on this day both times with 0 minutes of queue time, crazy! Such a good coaster tho!

  • Karst

    Airtimes Fun Smoothness

This is the best wooden coaster I have ridden to date. Seriously a smooth ride with plenty of airtime to be found. Riding this I can completely understand why El Toro is so popular. The fakeout part is so hyped but sadly it gets lost very easily and doesnt do much for me.

  • Karst

    Theming Launch

I had a frontseat today and wow wow wow, I forgot how brilliant this old launch coaster was. They REALLY upped their game in theming and it looks fantastic. Probably been looking at what the surrounding parks are doing an thought they needed to invest in some theming and I think they have done wonderfully. Although I do the theme go a bit strange with the "Hall of Fame" and feels to clash a tad. A haunted theme inside of a pop themed building, kinda weird. Loved this coaster.

    Location

Most absurd location to have ridden a coaster, but definitely neat. I vividly remember the giftstore having mlp plushies, but I don't remember much of the ride lol.

  • Karst

    Comfort Intensity

This is the first flying coaster I have ridden in my life and honestly it really doesn't disappoint at all. This genuinely feels like you are riding on the back of a dragon and i think it's awesome. It's such a shame that such an amazing coaster gets so overshadowed by the greatness off other rides, but it's definitely in the top 5 coasters in the park.
