Airtimes Inversions
This is the best B&M floorless I have ridden so far. Better than Bizarro in Six Flags Great Adventure and a lot better than Dragon Khan. That being said, I still miss airtime moments on this type of coaster. Superman has some short airtime hills, but that's not enough for me.
-
Headbanging
This is a relatively smooth Vekoma SLC. A lot better than the prototype in Walibi Holland. But it's still an SLC...
-
Launch Intensity
This 'Oldie but Goldie' from Anton Schwarzkopf did get a new funky theming and is now in the dark. The new launch system works well enough and the chaos in the dark is the fun part.
-
Fun Rattle
I think 'not bad' describes this (and its brother in Walibi Holland) relatively well. Nice layout, some out-of-control and a little bit of roughness.
-
Headbanging Discomfort
An uncomfortable and bumpy Vekoma boomerang anyone? Without any theming? Well, no, thanks.
-
Fun
A very well designed and themed mine train.
-
Fun
Such a pleasant surprise! The drops on both sides are fun (it really makes a difference if you are sitting in a large boat or a small train) and the launches are surprisingly strong (especially for a Mack ride). First time: automatically closing restraints.
-
Launch Fun
A tire propelled launch? How intense can that be? Well, here is the secret: Don't place the riders in a standard seating position. Instead let them ride this in an upright position, like a squad. And this makes such a big difference, especially in the second launch you hear the people on the train cheering or shouting "wow!". One of the best family coasters I know of.
-
Comfort Fun
The whole area is so well done - and the two Vekoma Junior Boomerangs are the smoothest I have every ridden. Great! The dueling is also well implemented with a big display of the time and speed during each sides ride.
-
Fun Ejectors
This small "mine train" from Pax does some strange (and wonderful) moves on its short but intense track. Unique!
-
Fun
It's less wet than it's brother in Mirabilandia. Love the elevator, the drop is 'meh'. The turns on this Intamin design are less rattly than Poseidon in Europa-Park.
-
Headbanging Discomfort
Normally, I enjoy a spinning mouse. But this Italian design is absolute garbage - the worst spinning mouse I have ever ridden. A very bumpy track combined with the head restraints create a very unpleasant ride experience. I never had that much headbanging on any mouse coaster...
-
Comfort Launch
The new Vekoma restraints are very good (nearly on par with Mack). In addition, the track is very smoothly bent, no comparison to older Vekoma designs. This is a small, fun launcher with some intense moments and well done inversions.
-
Intensity Rattle Layout
Together with Kumali, this is now the best SLC I have ever ridden. The new seats provide no headbanging. That being said, this is still an awfully bumpy and disorienting affair.
-
Fun Intensity
For a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster, this is surprisingly intense! Combined with the better comfort and smoothness, this easily beats the SLC in the same park.
-
Fun
One of the best Vekoma junior boomerangs. Smooth, nice theming and a station fly-through.
-
Nice surprise! Pointless
This old Soquet coaster has some really good and fun loopings (comparable in quality to the Schwarzkopf loopings). After that though, the ride only meanders around until it reaches the station.
-
Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Intensity
A wonderful new compact design from Vekoma! The first drop, which seems to go directly into the park sea is wonderful, the restraints are the best Vekoma ever made and the ride itself is very smooth. The layout packs quite a punch, because there are some intense ejector moments, narrow turns and a great upside-down station fly-through. The compactness (and with it the increased intensity) is the only minor point I can find at this ride.
-
Disappointing!
Unfortunately a very bland mine train.
-
Fun Disappointing!
From the outside, this looks so well themed. Unfortunately, in the inside all the design elements are gone. And when you are doing an indoor spinning coaster (which is no bad idea at all) make sure that it is indeed dark in the building. Otherwise people can see the empty room and the track...
-
Launch
From this type of the Maurer X-Cars I would like to see more. Good launch, very fun non-inverted loop. Some people have problems with the lap bar, I'm ok with it.
-
Discomfort
Quirky transactions between the inversions, overall more stressful than fun.
-
Nice surprise! Discomfort
This one was surprisingly fun, especially if you expect a torture device. Which it somehow is.
-
First Drop
Better than its european predecessors (Oblivion and Krake) and, in my opinion, on par with the Baron in Efteling. I like the theming.
-
Location
Very well themed area and ride, not too wet.
-
Headbanging Discomfort
The additional final helix does not change anything: It still is a Vekoma SLC. These coasters have a compact, very intense layout but are horribly uncomfortable.
-
Capacity Fun
Another smooth B&M Wing coaster. Very good theming and landscaping here. A little bit short though.
-
Fun
I still love the Gerstlauer Bobsleds. This one is no exception. They add airtime hills and helixes to a standard, very smooth 'Wild Mouse'.
-
Fun
Smaller version of Atlantica in Europa-Park. Very nicely themed.
-
Airtimes Fun
A relatively small coaster - and it feels like a bigger one. Congrats to Intamin on the layout, which creates lots of airtime moments on this short ride.
