    Theming Rattle

This is legit an uncomfortable ride and makes me appreciate any run of the mill shoot the chute ride, but it does have some cool theming and music to boogie down to, albeit no dialogue or characters. Also the façade looks AMAZING

    Launch Hangtime

This ride's launch packs a PUNCH, and you get to experience it forwards and backwards. I had a ton of fun on this one, you definitely cannot miss it.

    Fun Layout Duration

I haven't been on a lot of spinners, but this one is my favorite. I love the layout, and I feel like this ride does a little bit of everything.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Fun Capacity Discomfort

This one feels like a Schwarzkopf looper that doesn't have the loop. Its not very intense, but it is easy to re-ride, and it is fun.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Launch Harness Discomfort

I like the backwards launch, but the ride doesn't do a whole lot. It's still not a terrible ride or anything, just not trying to break any new ground.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Theming Fun Intensity Layout

This is a masterclass in coaster theming and you can't ask for much more from a coaster when it comes to storytelling and pure fun. It almost feels surreal like one of those fictional planet coaster rides where they put plenty of music, animatronics, and practical effects into the ride.

    Theming Comfort Fun

What a phenomenal ride. This is was a nice surprise in a theme park that feels very outdated.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Location Rattle Reliability

This ride certainly feels old, but it's not the roughest Arrow at Cedar Point. It's a family coaster, so there aren't any intense or fast moments, still a decent ride and better than any kiddie for sure.

    Capacity Discomfort Tear it down!

My first and last wild mouse. An shockingly unpleasant ride.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Theming Launch Intensity Layout

This ride is phenomenal. It's the only B&M I've ridden with a launch, and it really packs a punch. The queue has great theming, and the operations are very efficient.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Capacity Inversions Duration

This ride was my first invert and it did not disappoint! It has a cool Egyptian themed queue line, and It's much less rough than its sit-down counterpart Kumba across the park. This ride doesn't slow down until it hits the final brakes. It's intense, it's thrilling, and it's fun as HECK.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Theming Duration Rattle Headbanging Reliability

The years have not been easy on this ride. It's very rough, like magnum rough, and it is hard to enjoy because of it. The onboard audio is cool and the 2000s vibe the queue gives is also cool, but the ride itself will rattle your brains.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Capacity Rattle Headbanging Intensity

I understand and respect the history of this ride, but it's simply too rough to enjoy. It reminds me of old rough wooden coasters like Wildcat at Hersheypark, but this coaster is revered for its uniqueness. The final tunnel feels like an oven, and I'll probably pass this ride up on my next visit.

    Airtimes First Drop Ejectors

There's nothing I can say about this ride that hasn't been said already. The presentation is on point, the first drop is perfect, the ride is LONG and doesn't let up, and it's an airtime machine.

  • Keaton Knippel

    First Drop Comfort Smoothness

After riding Jolly Rancher Remix and experiencing the worst vest restraints in existence, I was relieved when these restraints were much more comfortable for me. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the traditional over the shoulder restraints, and I found this ride to be an overall very comfortable and smooth experience. The only other dive coaster I have to compare it to is Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa, and while this ride lacks the brakes on the second drop, as well as the splashdown, foliage, and water that accompanied Sheikra, it was still a very fun ride.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Inversions Fun

I greatly enjoyed this one. While there isn't too much to set it apart from other B&Ms, this ride is fun, and I love how low to the ground it is. I rode it in the front row, and the rattle is barely noticeable from that row.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Fun Smoothness Harness

This isn't the best B&M invert out there, but it is surprisingly smooth, and I love the green paint on this ride. It's a little dizzying, but still a fun ride nonetheless. This is a personal issue, but I find these older B&Ms to give an uncomfortable experience while wearing glasses due to the shoulder harness. As soon as I hit a single bump, the frames of my glasses slam into the hard plastic restraints.

    First Drop Location Masterpiece

This was my first giga coaster, and what a ride it was. It goes incredibly fast, and I don't see how one could ride this only once per visit. It's a phenomenal ride, and the view of Lake Erie is very good as well.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Nice surprise! Location Intensity

This ride was better than I was expecting it to be. It feels like a middle-ground between Cheetah Hunt and Velocicoaster. Very intense with snappy transitions, and the second launch is incredible. I love the rock work and the water, it really immerses you in the experience.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Location Fun Duration

This was my first wing coaster, and I thought it was decent. My hair unfortunately got caught in the vest restraint, and I think that took away from my experience somewhat. Also, the ride wasn't rough but it wasn't as smooth as I expected it to be. I would say that this is a ride you should ride front row for the full experience.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Location Rattle Disappointing! Discomfort

This ride is in Frontier Land, so the presentation is fantastic, but being on the ride is a nightmare. Even though its a slow mine train, its incredibly rough and unpleasant, like many other arrows at the park.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Location Smoothness Disappointing! Dead spots

This is a ride for children, and it doesn't offer much, although it is still a decent mine train. The tunnel is cool, but it is just not the ride for me.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Rattle

I liked the little house at the top, but this ride just feels to old and rough. I think they should do to it what they did with comet at Hersheypark, because that ride is noticeably smoother despite being about 20 years older.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Inversions Fun Intensity Rattle

This one is not for everyone, but the minimal restraints along with it's layout make is very fun in the back row for any enthusiast who is a fan of intense rides.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Theming Capacity Fun Rattle Airtimes

This is a relaxing indoor coaster that doesn't really have any surprises in store. The space theming is good, and there really isn't much else to say about this one.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Inversions Location Fun

Great Bear is my second B&M invert after Montu, and I can say that it is a great addition to Hersheypark. It's smooth and fun, and definitely doesn't feel like a ride made in the 90s. I rode it with my glasses off, so I didn't get such a great view, although it is in a great spot around some water and trees.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Capacity Layout Rattle Headbanging

This one is certainly a rough ride, and while it has a great layout, the constant headbanging can distract from what would be a very thrilling and fun experience. I would recommend going for the front row on this one. UPDATE 2022-02-04: I rode front row on this one with a full train and it was phenomenal. Definitely the most underrated coaster in the park, if not the whole state of Florida.

  • Keaton Knippel

    First Drop Inversions Smoothness

An instant classic. This coaster has incredible drops, inversions, and it also gives you a great view of Tampa right after the lift hill. Highly recommend giving this one a night ride. It's a very comfortable and smooth ride.

  • Keaton Knippel

    Rattle Discomfort Intensity

I had to ride this one given its infamy, and it certainly lives up to it. It's a very uncomfortable ride, even in the front row. I felt like I was holding on for dear life on this one, and there is no way I would ride it more than once in a day. What I can say is that the ride ops were some of the nicest in the park (and Hersheypark has some great ops). RMC would have a field day with this one.
