Spectaculaire et rugeux 😮 Cette chute verticale fabriquée par Giovanola offre un cadre exceptionnel. Une véritable structure de mine d'or ! L'aspect rouillé de la charpente métallique amplifie l'aspect terrifiant de la montagne russe. Le tunnel - comparable à Oblivion à Alton Towers - apporte aussi de l'envergure à l'attraction. À l'image de certaines montagnes russes en bois intenses, Tower of Terror est marquée par quelques à-coups plutôt secs. Un inconfort appuyé par les harnais de siège auquels certain•es seront ou non sensibles. La vue est complètement bloquée au deuxième rang, et même un peu au premier la faute à la barrière à l'avant du train. Bien spectaculaire, la descente est vachement impressionnante au premier rang. Deuxième rang, la vue obstruée et le manque criant d'airtime déçoivent. Les 6,2G ne sont pas flagrants. (Le parc continue de revendiquer ce record au passage) Peut-être trop brefs pour vraiment les sentir. Attraction hors du commun à de nombreux égards.

👍👍👍👍 Itération vraiment aboutie de launch coaster familial et sensationnel. 4 inversions riches en G latéraux, avec notamment un Cut Back et un Zero G Stall enrichis de jolis airtimes la tête en bas. 🤩Les airtimes se démarquent par leur nombre abondant et leur variété. Petites bosses enchaînées avec de légers flottements, deux grandes bosses avec un floajector bien prolongé, et, en apothéose, l'espèce de non-inverting loop qui offre l'ejector le plus puissant et vrillant du parcours. 🤔Quelques passages plus doux sont à noter. Les zig zags à la Cheetah Hunt offrent peu de retournements secs. Le double down en entrée de troisième launch s'avère avare en airtime. 🥲Petite déception personelle, le tonneau au raz du sol vrille beaucoup moins qu'un Blue Fire. C'est une inversion plus planante et focalisée sur les latéraux. 🥰Le tracé se conclut par un festival de petites bosses jouissif - ponctué par une bosse twistée surprenante avec des G latéraux. 😐Décors de rochers plaisants sans transcender. Encore un excellent multi launch Intamin dans la collection !!

Soaring with Dragon is, so far one of my favourite rides in China. The massive spike and non-inverting loop really take the triple launch gimmick to another level and without a doubt I re-rode this coaster. I feel Soaring with Dragon is not a finished product because of the weaker second half. The coaster starts with an exciting “swing” launch - forward/backward/forward. After a quick turn out of the station, the train barely waits for the track switch to operate. No time to be bored here! The acceleration itself isn’t the most powerful, but the speed at the end of the launch sequence is impressive. I noticed a slight rattle on some of the seats during this maximum speed. It wasn’t a big deal for me. The backwards vertical spike provides incredible weightlessness. Facing the ground vertically is spectacular, and the enormous size of the spike really contributes to that. Imagine sideways and floater airtime both at the same time sustained for 5,6 seconds - that’s what the non-inverting loop is about and it’s one of the most satisfying coaster elements I’ve ever ridden. Nice whip through a Dive Loop then the low-to-ground airtime hop is short but has solid ejector. The second half of the ride is basically twists and turns. I think the turns are a little bit too drawn-out to be really intense. The snappiness on the s-turns is somewhere in between Helix and Taron. Surely it could be more snappy, but at least the final rotation has more whip than the first two. The dragon statue is one of the most spectacular elements of scenery I’ve ever seen at a park. It holds up very well in real life compared to the many internet pictures I saw dozens of time. I wish Intamin could have had a way to fit more intensity in the turn and still retain the statue. But perhaps this was a request from Wanda Hefei to design the way it is. There isn’t much other theming of the same scale or detail around the rest of the ride, but at least the park as a whole looks gorgeous and very pleasant.

Hals-über-Kopf is a refreshing take on the Inverted coaster type. The first ever Suspended Thrill Coaster features several surprising bursts of airtime. The layout offers many graceful elements, some surges of positive G forces, blended altogether with really solid pacing. Hals also interacts nicely with its neighboring Volldampf, and makes clever use of its surroundings (trenches, nearby lake). I did notice a rattle during the stronger G sections. However the comfy lap-bars and seating more than make up for it!

Wonderfully dynamic Gigacoaster. After a superb first drop, Fury 325 keeps incredible momentum all the way to the drawn-out spiral towards the end. The bottom of the first drop and the Treble Clef turnaround are the only elements loaded with G+. Nonetheless, the experience is very thrilling thanks to dynamic twisty transitions. Sideways airtime is found on most of these turns. The final hills also deliver some of the best airtime B&M has ever offered: solid ejector for once!

Steel Dolphin is a very exciting ride! Imo, the force calculations are really clever and are just perfect for the target audience of the ride. Several solid moments of airtime, along with great twisty elements provide the bulk of a diverse experience. Although some parts are less forceful, the ride as a whole is remarkably dynamic! The impressive location is a nice bonus too.

Gold Rush is a fun ride and packs a punch in a small footprint. The hangtime right after the backwards launch is blissful, and the layout delivers a couple more exciting moments. Particularly the super snappy Dive Loop! Unfortunately, the experience is marred by several shortcomings: - The track is shaky enough to detract me from fully enjoying the ride, especially towards the back. - Some employees tend to push real hard on your lap-bars, stapling you. - The park has a very strict no-glasses policy, enforcing it even when riders wear a secured athletic strap. Being short-sighted that also affected my appreciation of what is still nonetheless a good fit for the ride

Lovely little woodie filled with little pops of airtime! The first drop delivers really good ejector at the back, and the ride as a whole is very well paced. Timber unfortunately is a bit bumpy which makes re-rides a little less desirable. Nonetheless excellent addition to WRA :D

One of the most recent B&M Inverts, OzIris is quite different from the old-school models such as Batman: the Ride, Montu and Pyrenees. It has no pre-drop, and a much less snappy transitions. The end result is a graceful coaster with an original layout. It has great flow and interactions with the pathways and scenery as well. The forces never get too high contrary to earlier Inverteds. I personally prefer really intense coasters so OzIris doesn't rank too high, but I appreciate B&M trying something new and different!

Gravity Group's second family woodie in France is a blast. Wood Express delivers an impressive amount of airtime, and keeps a good pacing throughout its layout. It rattles just a little enough to convey that appealing 'out of control' feeling so familiar with many great wooden coasters. The first drop was slightly not as exciting as I expected, and overall the ride also lacks a sustained airtime moment. Nevertheless, Wood Express is arguably second-to-none when it comes value-for-money for a ride of this size!

Hyperion is a really fun coaster - but not in the same league as Taron or El Toro. There are many good but not great moments of airtime. The Twist n' Dive is a brilliant moment mixing floater air and twistyness. The Stengel Dives are fun, though not on par with Maverick's. I feel Hyperion could have done more with its height and speed. Still an exciting ride well worth marathoning though!

Toverland's photogenic B&M provides a very enjoyable - albeit short - experience. The (now generic) dive drop has some nice hangtime, and the following airtime is pretty good too. Fenix's pacing arguably feels faster than the average Wing coaster and delivers cool laterals with the inversions along with some sustained G forces during the long helix. The ride's surroudings are superb and definitely enhance the overall experience. Impressive addition to Toverland's line-up!

Europe's first hypercoaster, the Big One mostly fails to deliver on its appealing skyline and impressive stats. The ride carries a lot of speed throughout the whole layout, but rattles so much and delivers little to no airtime. It does, however, have picturesque views, exciting pace and a long duration.

While it doesn't match the graceful brilliance of Helix or the relentlessness of Taron, Britain's first multi-launch coaster possesses many exciting moments. The ride experience, somewhat underwhelming early in the day, certainly improves in the afternoon as the coaster warms up. At its best, Icon delivers a solid mix of intense turns, snappy twists and very decent airtime. The layout does have several weaker moments, however, and feels meandering and a little uninspired at times. That is only a minor complaint though, the coaster as a whole is very fun and reridable indeed!

Alton Towers' 1994 Inverted coaster deserved its legendary reputation. Its short but action-packed layout stands out with its unique element order. Each element seamlessly leads to the next one and the pacing is excellent. The extremely forceful downwards helix following the first Corkscrew is arguably the highlight of a ride devoid of any dead spots. In addition, the ride aged gracefully - Europe's first B&M it is still glossy smooth! Simply put, Nemesis is a masterpiece and the best coaster in England in my opinion.

Yukon Quad exceeded my expectations with its intense second half - especially for a 'family' coaster. The rides has many twisty and forceful turns along with picturesque scenery. Definitely one of my favourite family coasters!

Nothing outstanding, but I was positively surprised by Speed! It has nice... speed and the drops are decent. The layout isn't particularly interesting or thrilling though. Oh and you can get VERY wet on this ride depending on where you seat.
