(FYI: This review is Forward Superman). Not a big fan of forwards to be honest, I thought the ride was pretty mid and just shot you up into the sky and back. Which is kind of crazy because backwards does the same thing but I like it significantly more. Still, RIP Superman, it'll be missed. :(

It's so hard to rank this and X2 because they're both just so fantastic. Come out and ride Tatsu, it's a fantastic ride. :)

Wow. This thing should 100% be illegal, but I'm so glad it's not at the same time. It is so intense, and it has fantastic transitions from crushing positives to floaty negatives. The only con is that the ride's leg slamming is really bad, oh and it also pulls 3 hour waits because of trash capacity. I can look past the cons though because this is the best coaster I have ever been on. Come out and ride this stupid thing! :)

Goldrusher is 100% my guilty-pleasure at Magic Mountain. I have a soft spot for simple family coasters and this absolutely fits that bill. The ride is a fantastic tour of the mountain, Full Throttle, and Superman (RIP). Otherwise, the ride doesn't do much other than give some decent laterals, still a fun ride that I would recommend simply because it's fun. :)

If it weren't for the fact that this ride is rumored to close, I would've skipped it. It's a fun ride that pulls decent forces, but is certainly outdated. You don't get much swing because the turns are quite overbanked, and you commonly have to wait quite a bit to ride this because Ninja consistently runs just 1 train (Even on busy days). Usually I wouldn't recommend rides like this, but because it will likely close soon (Especially with Superman now gone), please ride this thing before it is too late.

Extremely historical ride, but it is beyond outdated. The best element is of course the vertical loop which frankly the only reason I ride this. This coaster is fun, and it is worth your time if you have enough, but it pulls ridiculous waits because it commonly runs one train, even on busy days. I do recommend the ride for the historical significance, not much else though.

Probably the most mid ride at Magic Mountain. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy this coaster, but it just has the same qualities that better coasters already had. This ride combines the dueling element of TC with the launches of Full Throttle and it is fun, but not as good as either of those coasters. Hit this ride up if you have the time, but it is absolutely not a priority for me.

I was worried about riding this again after hearing so many negative reviews of how much rougher this thing has gotten, but it frankly was not too bad for me. Since I didn't mind the roughness, I loved the intensity and inversions. This ride has a fantastic first drop, good airtime (into the midcourse), hangtime, and of course the absurdly intense vertical loops. I understand why most people hate this thing, but this is absolutely on my must-do list when I go to Magic Mountain.

Still, absolutely ride this thing when you go to Magic Mountain, probably one of the most intense rides in the park.

For most people saying this is a mid-tier ride, I was not expecting Apoc to be one of my favorites in the park. The ride has pretty good and unique airtime and the sense of speed is truly heightened because you are going through so much wood/buildings. However, the roughness is something that is starting to get difficult to ignore. I can look past it because the ride is great, but many other people (including enthusiasts) hate this ride for it, and I can understand it. This ride needs a retrack so it gets the love it deserves. Come out and ride this if you don't mind rough rides. :)

The green lift is a massive dead spot and don't even try to pretend the lap bars are good (They are trash). Great ride but certainly not in my top 3 in the park.

Goliath haters, prepare to choke as I tell you that the first drop on this thing is actually awesome, back rows give pretty good floater, and it just lasts forever. The ride is so stupid intense and I love it; every valley crushes you with positives, and don't even get me started with the evil greyout helix. The only con about this ride is absolutely trash midcourse.. which like everyone says, is pretty bad and kills almost all excitement. The ride is still great though, please get your own opinion and don't just copy Airtime Thrills. :)

Another great ride at Magic Mountain. Layout overall is very smooth, packing in of course airtime and surprisingly, positive g's. The reliability on this thing is garbage though, almost always opens late and breakdowns are pretty often, don't get stuck in long lines, the trains are also terrible, bad seats, bad restraints. The ride itself is so good I can overlook these cons, absolutely come out and ride this coaster when you visit though.
