    Theming Fun Lap Bar

fun family coaster, the lap bar is hella bulky and sits on your stomach and thighs. This is also the best themed non disney coaster in florida, its beautifully themed.

    Theming Fun Reliability

A fun and unique family coaster. The elevator lift is fresh and the backwards portions are fun. Good for all ages and the theming is slick

    Theming Comfort Fun Dead spots

Cobra's Curse is a great family coaster with excellent theming and a lot of fun elements throughout. The queue is one of the best in the seaworld chain easily. It features extensive theming and storytelling with a preshow, indoor portions, and props everywhere. The trains themselves are very comfortable and look good as well. The elevator lift is a nice touch to help with the story of it being a dig site and is also something that just makes the ride different from others. The first portion stays forwards and features a few moments with surprising positives. The backwards section is easily the weakest section of the ride. Its just one helix into a lift hill. I honestly think it wouldnt have made much difference if it just went straight into the lift. The last sections of the ride is free spinning. This is 100% the highlight. It features several large swooping turns that have you spinning every which way and dive you into tunnels and trenches. Easily one of the best family coasters out there.

Theming Smoothness Layout Too short Capacity Intensity

Cobra's Curse is an amazing spinning coaster made by Mack Rides. While the themeing, layout, and the smoothness are top notch, it's not very intense, each car holds only four people, and it has barely any time where it spins.

    Theming Nice surprise! Fun Intensity

Now this ride has some variation in it. Even though its meant to be a more family friendly tame ride, its pretty cool. First of all the queue line is from all in the park the best themed one, it has a very cool story telling. The coaster has a pretty unique layout: it has an elevator lift, controlled spinning, and a standard lift hill in the second half

Theming Fun Layout Too short Intensity

While not on the same thrill scale as its amazing next door neighbor Montu, Cobra’s Curse does what it can to provide an enjoyable family coaster experience. While I can imagine the queue is not fun on crowded days, I enjoyed its tight, winding passages that evoke feelings of being inside an old Egyptian tomb. I didn’t get to watch much of the preshow, as my wait was only around 5 minutes, but what I could see was an interesting projection sequence of dramatic music and blinking lights. The ride operators kept capacity up for sure; as when I got to the station, there was constant movement! Whether it be the creatively engineered dual elevator lift, moving station or even a train whizzing over our heads, Cobra’s Curse never seemed to stop and breathe. Before the elevator lift, there’s a clever show scene that is making reference to “reawakening him” and rows of statues with glowing red eyes. At the top of the elevator, the train tips out towards the Cobra statue but quickly dives down and takes a turn into a helix. This part had a bit of a rattle to it, unfortunately, but it all comes to a head as you hit a mid-course brake run that turns the train backwards! Another helix ensues, this time with some bunny hops injected into the curvature; and then, you hit the zippy second lift hill. This part is definitely my favorite segment of Cobra’s Curse, as the constant slalom-style overbanked turns made for an oddly satisfying, repetitive sensation — but it ends all too soon as the train dives under the train tracks and hops into the final brake run. All in all, Cobra’s Curse is a very solid family coaster. It has some great theming with an in-depth backstory, great interaction with the railroad and surrounding pathways, and the ending section was so much fun; however, I can’t help but point out that when Cobra’s Curse was announced I expected it to have a more twisted and long layout than it actually ended up being. This is a good coaster for everyone in the family, as it’s not too intense like Montu, Kumba or SheiKra are but provides a decent enough thrill to warrant children begging their parents for another re-ride.

    Theming Nice surprise! Fun Capacity

Thought it was really fun! Spin can be different each time.. the overbank can be quite intense depending on the rotation you get.. overall a fun family coaster (only 3/5 because I feel I can't rate it on the same scale as Mako or rides like that I give 5 stars)

    Theming Fun Capacity

A great family coaster, but the bad capacity and proximity to the entrance, plus the heavy marketing for the ride, gives this coaster a long line that the coaster doesn't warrant. The theming and forwards, spinning, and backwards sections make this a great experience for families. However, if you want a family coaster with great theming, a sizeable drop, and goes forwards and backwards, Expedition Everest does all of this way better.
