    Airtimes Launch Intensity

This is easily my number 1 favorite roller coaster. Like Steel Vengeance, there are so many things that are great about this ride. The airtime, intensity, launch, also the first drop, the theming, the whip. It’s just outstanding. I can see how people prefer Steel Vengeance, but to me, Maverick is just better.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Airtimes First Drop Duration Reliability

There are so many things that are great about this coaster. The speed, the airtime, the first drop, the duration, the inversions, it’s just legendary. You basically get shot up from your seat every single element. The first drop was great as well. Steel Vengeance’s duration is long, so it feels like the coaster just keeps on going. The only problem I have with this is the reliability, but that’s because the first time I tried to wait for this I waited 90 minutes and it closed down right at the metal detectors. In a nutshell, this is basically just Wicked Cyclone but on drugs.

    Harness Discomfort Tear it down!

Oh my god this thing is awful. The layout sucks, the restraint feels like organ failure, and it’s forceless. The only thing that this coaster has that doesn’t want to make me die is the launch, and it isn’t even that good, it’s just short and janky. I was expecting this thing to have some intensity to it, but the only force you are going to get is the restraint forcing its way onto your back, and crushing all of your organs. I was in pain for at least 10 minutes after riding this, and that’s why I’m never riding this again, and you should probably never ride it too, because this torture device is not worth the credit.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Fun Intensity Headbanging Harness

Personally, I enjoy boomerangs because they are usually pretty intense, like this one. But the restraint and the headbanging is always a problem. But due to the way the restraint is, I had a lot of room and I think if I really tried I could slide some bit out of the restraint. It’s always with boomerangs, I either get stapled, or I ether get so much room that I could just slip right out. So I had to hold onto the restraint for god dear life while the coaster was in motion, which honestly brought an adrenaline rush to the ride, which only made the boomerang even funner. I have a high tolerance to headbanging (unless if I’m dehydrated as hell), so it didn’t exactly ruin the ride experience for me, it just made it worse.

  • Wicked Cyclone

First Drop Fun Too short Disappointing!

I was expecting more out of this, considering it was my first Euro-Fighter. But honestly, I am disappointed. The drop was good, and it is simply just a fun ride, but I was expecting a big more of a punch out of this. The ride also felt like it lasted for 15 seconds after the lift hill, which was sad. But this is still pretty fun in general.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity Rattle

This is definitely one of the best roller coasters I’ve ever ridden, and I’m not just glazing it. Random thing to point out, but the lift hill is a lot faster than Superman: The Ride at Six Flags New England, idk why but that just makes things a lot better for me. The intensity of this thing is insane. When you get to the top, if you sit in the way back, you get pulled through the drop, and it feels like you’re just plummeting towards the ground at high speeds with high intensity. It’s a feeling you don’t normally feel on any roller coaster, and that’s why I love it so much. A lot of people are complaining about “dead spots” on this, but honestly, I don’t see it. Sure, it might be like 3 seconds of straight track for some moments, but it’s not a buzzkill at all. This coaster has strong airtime, especially in the final hills. The helix has some strong g force as well. This coaster is honestly pretty underrated, and definitely a must ride each time you visit the park.

  • Wicked Cyclone

According to my brother, I’ve ridden this before so yeah.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Airtimes Fun Duration Rattle

When I first got a re-ride on this, I thought this coaster was just rough and forceless. But with my most recent rides, I actually felt a lot of force, and the rattle was not as bad. It feels as if this ride just got randomly better. But maybe that’s just because I rode it in a different spot. For the best ride, go to the 2nd to last row.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Airtimes Theming Fun Too short Lap Bar

Fun family coaster. It has good theming to it by the entrance instead of it just standing there. I did notice some good floater for some elements. The restraint is way to big (for a family coaster at least), which makes the airtime not very noticeable, but this is a family coaster, so it’s not really that much of a problem for me. I feel as if this coasters duration is too short as well. Like I said, family coaster, not really a problem I need to be focusing on, but this ride was generally fun, and i’d like it more if it was a longer ride. Overall, this is a fun coaster, and a nice place to start for young coaster enthusiasts, or if you are not big on coasters but want to be braver on rides.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Inversions Harness Intensity Rattle

This ride was fun, and confusing. It was very hard to tell what was going on and the rattle kind of added to the confusion. So I guess for me the rattle is a bad thing but also a good thing? At least I didn’t get a headache though. This coaster is fun. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who gets headaches on coasters, for obvious reasons.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Inversions Fun Intensity Rattle Capacity Dead spots

First flying coaster, kinda disappointed. It’s fun, but forceless. Except for the pretzel loop. The capacity is awful, too. 50 minutes of my life wasted. I still enjoy this coaster, but it’s nothing special.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Nice surprise! Fun Duration Discomfort

This was actually really good for a kiddie coaster. It had some pretty good whip to it, but thats mainly because we rode in the back row. It lasted for a long time, because we went 3 times. Something bad about it is the discomfort it brought. It was pretty janky but mainly all kiddie coasters are. This is generally a fun ride and is good for very young thrill seekers.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Theming Fun Intensity

I mean, I don’t really know what to write about this. It’s kinda forceless, but that’s because it’s a dark ride (in a way). The theming is good, obviously. It’s fun as well. It only has seatbelts too, so this ride is ok.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Fun Intensity Capacity

I was expecting this ride to be bad, because bobsleds tend to be bad, but I was wrong. This ride was intense, smooth, and fun all at once. But of course, the capacity was bad, but that’s just because it’s a bobsled. Overall this was a fun bobsled.

  • Wicked Cyclone

First Drop Intensity Hangtime Too short Lap Bar

I’ll be honest, I was kinda scared to ride this for the first time. This was going to be my first verticle lift hill and 90 degree drop. But honestly, it wasn’t that bad, in fact, the drop was really fun. Impulse also had some hangtime to it too. But the lap bar also kinda sucked. It lowered even more while the car was going through the track due to positive g’s. Also I feel as if Impulse was too short. But still, this coaster is a really fun ride and I will be marathoning it every time we go to Knoebels.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Fun Intensity Duration Rattle Disappointing! Dead spots

Twister is generally a good fun ride (as long as you ride near the front). But one problem I find with it is that (like Phoenix) it’s sort of a one-trick pony. It mainly focuses on the intense turns, but the rest is just kinda forceless. The ride is good itself. It’s nice and long, and the coaster is generally fun, but I feel as if it had the potential to be great. But I did notice that it had some floater. Overall, fun coaster, yet mildly disappointing.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Lap Bar Intensity Ejectors

When I was first going to ride Phoenix, I was thinking to myself that this ride would not be as great as I expected or it was going to be bad. Because every single “great” wooden coaster that I ride it ends up being a disappointment (targeted to Bolder Dash). But this was one of the greatest wooden coasters I've ever ridden, because El Toro is just better. The dispatches are not one of the fastest, but the fastest dispatches I have ever seen on a roller coaster. It takes them, I’d say, about 30 seconds to dispatch the train out of the station (Six Flags America, start taking notes). But that’s mainly because this coasters only restraint is buzz bars. Speaking of buzz bars, this roller coaster has some of the strongest airtime I have ever experienced on a wooden coaster, and since there are only buzz bars, you get flung out of your seat! I was actually standing because of how strong the airtime was. The only really bad thing about this ride is that this ride was only operating one train, for now, I hope. And also that’s it’s kind of a one-trick pony. I feel as if it only focuses on one great element, and that is obviously airtime. But I wish it kinda did something like El Toro. El Toro doesn’t just focus on its airtime, but it also focuses of laterals with those snappy turns, also the drop, El Toro’s drop is very steep (for a wooden coaster at least). But Phoenix is still great overall, and it is a must ride if you ever go to Knoebels (unless if it’s closed for some random reason).

  • Wicked Cyclone

According to my brother, I rode this at a random point in my life. So I’m just adding this to my credit list.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Discomfort Intensity

Forceless as hell, this would have more stars if it didn’t break my back. Idc if they just got a retrack, RMC, please bless this park with one of your beautiful creations.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Launch Intensity Hangtime Too short Discomfort

It’s literally just Sandy’s Blasting Bronco on crack. It whipped me through the layout, felt like I was upside down for hours (that’s a compliment), and it’s forces make me feel like I’m about to die (also a compliment). The only problems I have with this coaster is how it’s too short, and it felt like it snapped my spine in half, but maybe that’s because I rode it 7 times. It was worth it though.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Inversions Fun Intensity Rattle Harness

Ima come back like a boomerang.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Inversions Fun Intensity Too short Harness

It spun a lot more than the one at Six Flags Great Adventure, and more intense. But of course, the ride was too short, due to it being a free spin. And the harness crushed my hips at the end. But the ride is just overall fun.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Theming Hangtime Too short

I was shocked of how good of a ride this was. I wasn’t expecting anything special, but it was still fun. I was shock of how much hang time I got. I was flying in my seat. I also like the color of the coaster. It’s very pretty and shiny. I feel like this ride ended a bit too soon than I was hoping for. But maybe it’s because there was no mid-corse breakrun. This is probably the best floorless coaster that I have ever been on.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    First Drop Theming Duration Rattle

I recently rode this ride again, and I was a bit disappointed. It was a little bit rougher from when I last rode it. It wasn’t Magnum-rough, I could handle it, but it was bit of a minor inconvenience. It was not as forceful as I remembered, but maybe that was because I had high expectations for it. There was one thing that I adored about the ride, and that was the beautiful lake on the side of the coaster (yes I know it’s a river I just call it a lake for sharts and giggles). This ride is good, but if you think it’s better than Wicked Cyclone, you stinkay.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Airtimes Inversions Masterpiece

I have ridden this coaster more times than I can count, and Wicked Cyclone still manages to always impress me. If I could add more pros, I would. The train manages to keep the speed perfectly, it feels as if I am flying straight through the tracks. Even though the drop is pretty short (considering this is only 109 feet tall) it still packs a punch. You can easily tell that you are plummeting towards the Earth at a 78° angle, and you can feel it too. The airtime is literally death ejector. If I’m being honest, you can compare it to the airtime on El Toro, and that is saying something. The inversions on Wicked is outstanding. It’s whips you threw the track and it has a lot of hang time, it’s perfect. This coaster has a place in my heart, and always will.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Theming Launch Intensity Rattle Too short Reliability

This thing may be short, but it packs a punch! First that launch is crazy. Then you great thrown up 456 feet into the air and back to the ground. Which isn’t much, but still. The laterals on this are crazy. I wish it was smoother though, and not closing every second. I really like the theming of the queue and station, too.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Theming Launch Fun Too short Capacity

Amazing coaster. The green side has more spinny action and is more intense, but the pink side is more tame, still intense. When we came back to Nickelodeon universe and got a ride on this, we went on the green side, and I feel like I was going to be crunched and squished because of the amount of g’s. Overall, great ride.

  • Wicked Cyclone

Nice surprise! Location Pace Too short Capacity

This is an amazing ride. It shocked me how fast it flew through the tracks, and overall just a fun ride. I enjoy how you get to fly around the park. Unfortunately, the ride is way to short. I feel like they could have just made the ride a bit longer so that you could get more time to enjoy the ride. If the amount of ride time you get on this coaster was longer, I would have rated this higher. The capacity is horrible too. The first time we rode this we had to wait a whole hour! But the second time we came back, we only had to wait around 15 minutes, which isn’t too bad. The first time we came here it was a very crowded day, so it makes sense why we had to wait an hour. But since the train is very small and can only hold 550 people per hour at it’s maximum capacity (the average riders per hour on a coaster is 1200 to 1800 people per hour) the capacity is horrible. I wish they had more than 1 train, because that would easily get ride of the big line that always forms in the queue. If you want to beat the line, I recommend going to the park at 11:00 AM (or around that time) and going straight to Slime Streak. Overall, this ride is fun and underrated, it completely blew away my expectations, and I love this roller coaster.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Location Fun Intensity

I enjoy a nice spinning coaster, and I understand that this is sort of a family coaster, but this just felt kind of forceless. I was sort of expecting it to do more. It’s still very fun, and I like how they placed it right next to TMNT Shellraiser. Overall, it’s a fun ride, but I wish it did a bit more.

  • Wicked Cyclone

    Fun Intensity Capacity

This is intense for it’s kind. Very fun I recommend. The only bad thing I have to say about this is the Capacity is garbage. Took us forever to get on
