Hey textwall warning ok you’ve been warned but here’s my full iron menace thoughts. Pros: • theming is very well done and I like it. • trains are comfortable, and I like them. They don’t make a difference on the airtime to me. Still felt plenty of it. • crew was MOVING. They had that shit running like the army. • audio up the lift is a nice touch • great drop and placement seeing the entire park in front of you and it has nice air in the back. • while I didn’t lose any vision the Immelmann was INTENSE and I definitely felt it pressing down on me. • zero g roll has a nice twist to it. Really good floaty sensation to it • again while I didn’t lose any vision the inclined loop ROCKS. • the rattling while present does not impact nor detract from the ride from me and did not cause any pain. • the jolt was very overblown and while yes you notice it on ride it just jostles you from side to side. No pain. Just abrupt. • All around the ride has good forces. Nice air on the drop and really good positives. by far the biggest pro: this ride has excellent pacing. From drop to brakes it wastes no time on any filler elements and every element does something. This absolutely makes the ride better than the other dives I’ve done (Griffon and sheikra) because they come to near dead stops in the middle of the ride. Iron menace just hauls ass the entire time and that makes the ride have the extra edge over the other dives I’ve ridden to this point Cons: • no shade structures in the queue at all. Come on. Even something to protect from the weather (rain or shine, always nice to stay dry instead of getting wet under shitty tarps) would be appreciated but there’s nothing. • while the lift audio is a nice touch, you can BARELY hear it. • the circle thing at the base of the drop right now looks kinda goofy and I hope they add some synced lighting effects to it. • most valleys have a noticeable shimmy to them. Nothing that’ll cause pain but it’s noticeable. • more of a nitpick than a con and I knew this going in and while I LOVE the inclined loop on menace, green lanterns inclined loop absolutely fucking destroys menaces. • the jolt is noticeable and I still don’t know how Claremont fucked up fabrication of that track piece but I hope dorney gets it fixed. All and all, iron menace is a SLAM DUNK for dorney park and an overall great addition. I am very happy for them and I really enjoy the ride. Looking at a score of 7.5-7 range and I’ll try and place it in my rankings soon.

Let me just start with this. I prefer positive g force, pure speed, and pure sustained ejector or floater airtime over quick pops of airtime, pacing also plays a huge part in how I rank rides. I also have an extremely high g force tolerance and I have to be very very dehydrated to start greying out. That being said, Intimidator 305 is in my opinion, truly the greatest coaster ever made. It has insane speed, positive gs that cause most to grey or black out (even if I didn’t since I rode it right after having a meal and drinking a bunch of water) and insane sustained ejector airtime, insane airtime pops from the lateral snaps. This is truly THE greatest coaster ever in my opinion and I don’t believe anything can beat it. It’s absolutely perfect. The transitions were designed in a masterful way, so that while you’re viciously being tossed around by the ride you get ejected out of your seat on the snaps. There is no coaster that can ever beat this ride for me, it’s absolutely the perfect roller coaster. If you haven’t ridden it, ride it asap. I love this ride. One of the 2 coasters I consider to truly be a perfect coaster. Nothing will ever beat it. It’s unreal.

Also the better dark ride out of the 2 in the park, Haunted mansion is overrated and also just sensory overload. I hate the constant noises of haunted mansion compared to this more relaxed dark ride. Haunted mansion while i commend knoebels for taking care of it, is just too much overload for me. I’ll take this over it

Y’all need to stop bitching. It is not rough even in the very back, but I wouldn’t advise riding there. It’s boring back here, but up front you get 3 of the funniest ejector pops out there. In no way is it my favorite woodie and it’s not even close, but up front it’s solid. The trims suck and yadda yadda yeah yeah but seriously underrated. Sit up front for the best experience.

This ride does absolutely nothing. My least favorite invert by a long shot. I am just baffled by how little this ride does. A meh drop, a meh loop, a horrible zero g roll that has neither float like newer B&M rolls or whip like the old B&M rolls, a meh Immelmann, and then a alright corkscrew. Just not my cup of tea. Great bear sweeps. One of the most underwhelming and disappointing coasters ive ever ridden.

This ride is fucking horrendous. I have to put a half of a star to submit this but this ride gets a score of 0/5 and a 0/10. It’s fucking horrific. It looks good but then you actually ride it. There is nothing redeeming about this ride. The rattle is unbearable. It rides like a fucking shopping cart going down a cobblestone road. I’m happy zamperla is improving but this is the Worst coaster ever for me personally. I’ve given it 4 chances and it just keeps getting worse. There is no fixing this ride. Piece of shit. Also this is coming from someone who likes skyrush restraints but these are the worst restraints I’ve ever experienced by far. The operators make you sit completely back, and then they slam the plastic panini press of a restraint down so hard that it feels like you’ll lose circulation in your legs. They keep tightening the entire ride. Horrific ride. Burn it down or unleash steel eating termites on it, just get rid of it and I can die happy.
