    Airtimes Theming Smoothness

This is a great family coaster. Not too intense but it has some airtime and a few moments of positive Gs. It's glossy smooth and it's wonderfully themed. It's just a great family coaster with bit of airtime and positive Gs, great theming and onboard audio. The world's fair aesthetic also somewhat reminds me of Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon.

First Drop Theming Fun Too short

This water coaster is over before you know it. But it's fun while it lasts. It's gimmicky, sure, and while the backwards drop does next to nothing, it's a fun enough gimmick for a water coaster. The main drop is where the party is at. The drop itself is decent but oddly not as good as Poseïdon's final plunge. The splash, as with most water rides with large vehicles, doesn't get you extremely wet on ride but it drenches anyone passing by. It's fun, but not as good as Poseïdon.

    Theming Intensity Layout Rattle Discomfort

This might just be the strangest coaster I've ridden. It actually feels like a Russian coaster, not like a Mack Rides coaster. It's just extremely strange. The theme feels like a time capsule. As for the lift hill, it's just something else. It's in one of the towers and has some lights with a scene in the middle to mix things up. The wild mouse section might be the best part of the ride, as it gives great views of Voltron and doesn't try to kill you. The main section is really jerky. It just has kinks that send your head flying from side to side, same for your legs. It also has a dull rattle the whole way through. But honestly, I can look through that and admire the intensity, especially when going backwards most of the time. As for how to achieve that, you have to get on a forwards seat in the station. I just think it needs a retrack and it'll be good. It might not be as salvageable as Goudurix, as its layout is inferior.

    First Drop Theming Fun

This is a great wild mouse. The train goes up not with a chain lift but with a wacky elevator lift. The first drop is good. It doesn't provide much airtime but it's fun nonetheless. The lateral G forces are great and the ride still manages to remain relatively smooth. It's one of the better wild mouse coasters out there

    Capacity Fun Smoothness Too short

This is relatively smooth for a Mack Bobsled. It's especially impressive because Mack's coasters at that time weren't the smoothest. They made coasters decades later that aren't as smooth as Schweitzer Bobbahn (looking at you Poseïdon and Euro Mir). As for the elements, they aren't as good as Trace du Hourra's éléments but they're fun. The transitions are rather snappy and the turns pull decent G forces. The straight drop is unique for the genre. My only nitpick is that it's quite short.

    Comfort Fun Capacity

This is a good kiddie coaster. It's glossy smooth, does three laps and is well presented. It's way better than most old wacky worms and medium Zierer Tivolis (especially SOS Tournevis). It's also extremely over engineered, with the flaps in the station.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Comfort Too short

What a great family coaster. It's got some nice airtime for what it is, and is one of the most intense family coasters that I've ever been on. It's a great for what it is but it's over in a flash.

    Theming Fun Duration Capacity

This is a fun little ride but it has a queue that never ends... It's extremely well themed (even down to the smells) and is nice for everyone but it's not worth an hour long wait. It's quite unique (an inverted powered family coaster) and is extremely comfortable If you're a coaster enthusiast, ride it for the credit and move on.

    Capacity Fun Layout

Update March 2024: I was positively surprised by Pégase Express today. It ran well and the fast paced transitions are fun, even if there isn't much in the way of forces. It's just behind Goudurix in my rankings now. Update October 2023: Forget what I said about this being better than Zeus. It's not. Zeus is a great coaster and I even prefered Goudurix to Pégase Express. It's a good family coaster but it does next to nothing in the forces departement. I don't even think it hits 2Gs. It's a good family coaster, it does its job well and has a high throughput. The rattle can grind on you, it doesn't cause a headache, it's just there. This coaster is a great fit for families and a good step up from the smaller coasters at the park. It has a cool launch out of the station that has a little bit of kick to it, a good drop that’s not to thrilling to appeal to younger riders and a short but good backwards section. The Medusa section is cool too and some hills have a tiny pinch of airtime. The ride has a problem that a lot of Gerstlauer coasters have and it’s the potholes. They are especially noticeable in the backwards section and the coaster overall has a little rattle but nothing too uncomfortable. A good intermediate coaster that fills a gap between thrill and family coasters though it is still pretty much a family coaster. Update June 2023: I rode this coaster on June 28th and it was my best ride on this. The forward section didn't wow me, it was the same as before. The backwards section was awesome. Not being able to see what is coming adds a fun factor and makes even the mildest of elements hit different. The left seats also get some water due to the fountains that are syncronised to the trains passing. It did have a noticable rattle, but nothing that really bothers me. I had a better experience on this compared to Tonnerre 2 Zeus, which was crazy rough and not fun, and that is enough to push it to a 4 star rating. It's better that Goudurix and Zeus (unpopular opinion, I know).

    Theming Location Fun

This is the roughest coaster at Parc Astérix by far. The seating is uncomfortable. Just like the trains on Vol d’Icare, the trains on Trace du Hourra have tandem seating and it is bad. It’s not as uncomfortable as it is on Vol d’Icare, at least according to my friend. To me it felt mostly the same but oh well… but the roughness is what really killed the ride for me. It is incredibly shaky to the point where my vision was bopping up and down. The theme is nice though and the location in great next to the upcoming Toutatis coaster. The bobsled aspect is fun though and the layout for a bobsled coaster. Roughness is apparently an issue on all Mack bobsleds so I’m just gonna accept it, and remember, I was in the FRONT row, which is supposed to be the smoothest row in a coaster so I can only imagine how it is in the back. My friend told me he didn’t feel the roughness that much probably because he was in the front of the seat with me protecting him from the vibration. I’ll probably pass this coaster the next time I go there or maybe I’ll ride it last because if I’m gonna get my brain shaken around, I’ll ride it last. Still a tiny bit better than Vol d’Icare but barely. Update May 2023: I rode it twice this time around because there was next to no line so I thought back to back rides like that were a bargain. First of all, this has got to be one of the most efficient coasters I have ever seen. It is not rare to see two trains on the lift hill at the same time. I got a ride that was extremely rough in the middle but I was resting by back on the seat. At the end of my first ride, I figured out that not having your back on the seat was much more comfortable. I got another ride in the very back and it was good. The first midcourse didn't hit at all which not only made for some awesome whip on the following turn but also some good positive G forces. The S turns are quite fun at the beginning. What's funny is that someone threw up on the exit platform in the train right in front of me. I've heard many people call it "La Trace du Vomi" which literally translates to "The Vomit Stain" and there you go so that was quite funny but overall it's a good family ride that brings some life to the festival area. Update January 2024: This actually has good positive Gs. It's actually pretty smooth in the front car too. I actually prefer this to Pégase Express. Update March 2024: Didn't ride it this time as it was closed for half of the day, and had a 50 minute queue (the longest on March 30th) after its reopening. That paint is looking worse for wear though. I don't believe it was ever repainted.

    Airtimes Theming Intensity Headbanging

Update March 2024: Nothing much to add. GoPros are allowed if chest mounted. Update July 2023: My opinion on this ride hasn't changed much today. I got three rides. Two in row 3 and and one in row 6. The airtime on the drops was great in both rows but a bit stronger in the back of course and it's really forceful. The airtime on the entrances to the following turns was great in row 3 and the loop was really intense in the back. Then comes the worst transition on the ride. It doesn't have any airtime and is extremely jerky. The helix is a bit jank but forceful. The entrance into the next brake run is great no matter where you are on the train. It's not ejector but it's a quick floajecter (made up word) pop. The hill that comes afterwards offers a really weak pop of airtime. Also brace yourself for the braking on the last two brake runs it is quite violent. This is such a weird coaster to see at a Disney park. A clone of a rare prototype looping Pinfari Zyklon model made by none other than Intamin. They sure have evolved since then, especially in their train design. These are cramped. Update February 2023: This ride is weird at a Disney park but I like how weird it is. I got three rides on this coaster this time: the first ride was in the middle and while it was smooth when there was straight track, the train sagged side to side on turns which was weird but my front rides were pretty smooth besides the brutal transitions on the two first turnarounds since they are taken with full force in the front row. The last mid course brake run still had some awesome airtime and the loop is definitely most intense in the front. My back rides were also good with some awesome airtime on the first two drops and the least brutal headbanging on the first turnarounds and while the loop isn't as intense as it is in the front, the airtime is still strong entering the final mid course brake run. Both my front and back rides were smooth and if my middle row ride hadn't been so weird, I would have upped my rating. Ride this if you can as I don't know how long it will stay at the park as it definately looks like it is at the end of its life. November 2022 update: I still think this coaster doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. It was the first thrill coaster at the Disneyland Paris resort and now it's just forgotten about. It never had more than a 5min wait for me. This time I got a back row ride and I came off thinking this was better than Avengers Assemble: Flight Force as my last rides on this were extremely disappointing. The drops were thrilling, giving some great airtime. The loop was extremely intense and the following turns gave a great sense of speed and the hop into the last midcourse brakes gave some ejector airtime plus this coaster is quite smooth and the headbanging is non-existant in the back plus this coaster looks gorgeous at night. This, to me, is a front row ride for the intense loop and turns or a back row ride for the airtime on the drops. This was way better than the headbanging mess that Avengers was. Original review: This coaster is often forgotten about but really shouldn’t be. Every time I ride this it is basically a walk on. While yes, it does have some headbanging on the jerky transitions in the first half, the loop is the most intense inversion I have experienced and the following turns are also very intense. I also got some ejector airtime into the last mid course brake run. The ride is very short but all the better for it because if it was longer, it would take the elements with the speed as it does. While it looks like a Zyklon it is way more intense that the admittedly forceless Pinfari coasters though those have better drops. This coaster also has a great and detailed theme. Overall a good enough coaster that gets buried in the park’s lineup.

    Theming Intensity Duration Reliability

Original Review: Hyperspace mountain is, in my opinion, the better of the two Vekoma launch looping coasters at the Disneyland Paris resort. The launch, while not as powerful as Avengers’ launch, still packs a slight punch. The layout is also more unique plus it also has vest restrains which eliminate the headbanging that the ride was known for. The inversions are also intense. Now the ride has the same Vekoma rattle that Goudurix and Avengers have. While I never got to ride it as De la Terre à la Lune or Mission 2, I think the new Star Wars theme looks less impressive. Overall a better ride than Avengers at least in the latter ride’s current state. Update Feb. 2023: I don't have anything to add to what's already in my review besides that I have a much higher opinion of Avengers compared to when I wrote the original review, still enjoy the ride a bit more than Avengers but not enough for it to get 4.5 stars. Update July 2023: I rode this coaster 5 times in rows 3 (twice), 6, 7, 12 and have noticed a few things. First off the queue was way faster than the other rides at the park. This ride has some really intense inversions, pullouts, turns and a surprising pop of airtime in the back. The right speaker was also broken in row 12 (right seat, last ride). While the vest restraints are a godsend (more on that later), they can sit too close to your shoulders. It is more uncomfortable in the station and don't bother much during the ride itself. The ride has a noticable rattle in all rows but one that gets worse further back in the train. Now that we got the rattle and vest restraints out of the way, I just want to say that the ride's rattle makes neck and head movements quite common on this ride. I can only imagine how bad it was bad it was before it got new trains. It's an iconic ride that has a quick line. Don't miss out on it Update September 2023: I got rides in rows 2 and 6. My first ride was in row 2 and the wait was atrocious (1 hour). The ride had already broken down twice. I don't know what it is with old Vekoma coaster but the front car is always extremely bumpy. The intensity was there and headbanging was eliminated but side to side movement was not. It is caused by the rattle and worse potholes. The pothole atop the sidewinder is atrocious no matter what row you sit in. Row 6 was more tolerable and since it was a night ride, the wait time was next to none. Row 6 is less intense but way more tolerable, the rattle is there but it's not as pronounced as in row 2. The reliability of this coaster is also... questionable. It probably broke down 4 times when I was there. Update March 2024: This is a really good coaster. Better than Avengers for sure. It's way more varied and more intense. I always have to ride Flight Force a little defencively, but I can just lean forward and enjoy Hyperspace Mountain. If you want to know if it's possible to film onride, no. No, it isn't, even with a chest mounted GoPro. It will get blocked by the vest anyways.

First Drop Theming Smoothness Capacity Discomfort Dead spots

I remember the first drop on this was really good. So was the second one. The rest of the ride felt pretty dead though. Thetrains were also really cramped but the harness itself wasn't an issue because that ride is rather smooth. The theming in this coaster's queue line is also really nice for a regional park and that applies to the whole park. There were models that represented prototypes of the ride's cars, which also looked nice. The capacity sucked, though that was mainly due to the train having to be pushed towards the station after each cycle. That's apparently been improved on.

    Theming Launch Intensity

Update Feb. 2023: So I rode Avengers Assemble: Flight Force again yesterday. I came in talking trash about this coaster expecting the worst as my last rides were pretty lackluster... and I actually enjoyed it the two times I went on it. The trasitions were pretty good with no huge headbanging issues and while the ride still had a slight rattle it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. The launch is pretty great, the sea serpent element was intense and some of the turns actually offered some positive Gs as well. I still don't like the new theming as much as the old one but I'm getting used to it, so I'm not quite as mad as I was before. I don't know what happened in November, I must just have caught it on a bad day, overall I'm way more impressed by it this time, and I had some genuine good time on it. I'm giving it the 4 stars that I would have given it back when it was themed to Aerosmith. Update July 2023: I rode this three times today in rows 6, 7 and 5. There were some good things and some bad things. First with the good things: the ride had short wait times even during busy hours. It seems as though Disney listened to the feedback and added some stars and more screens during the layout which is much appreciated. The ride still has a good airtime pop near the end. Now on to the bad things: The pre-show, while it looks great, breaks the line. There were tons of people accumulating in the short line after it which made it impossible for the ops to close the door. Not a deal breaker but pretty immersion breaking for first time riders. The line after that pre-show also seemed to move at a snail's pace. Before my third ride, I had to wait for a show to end outdoors. I don't know about you but I think doing that show right in front of a ride's entrance seems like a massive design flaw. This show was also recurrent and took place every 30 minutes it seems. On that same third ride (unlucky ride I guess), the left speaker crackled and it seems to be a train-wide issue. The layout itself has some intense moments and the rattle is tolerable but it has some dead spots (at least they're not in complete darkness now). I am not changing my rating as there were some improvements from last time but also some problems. Update November 2023: Honestly, this ride is pretty smooth and forceful. It does bang your head around a little but if you clear the harness, you're gonna be fine. I marathoned this during my visit, clocking in 7 rides, which was actually my first time at only one of the two parks in years, I usually visit both but I don't regret spending my whole afternoon at Walt Disney Studios. Waits were non-existant too and they didn't even bother with the pre-show. Overall, it was the perfect setting to marathon it. Update February 2024: Well, guess what, not only did I prefer it to Crush's Coaster, but it was better than ever and I even beat my record, I rode it 8 times, making it the coaster I probably rode the most in my entire life. It was pretty smooth too, the bootom of the Sea Serpent inversion didn't rattle this time, though I noticed that train 1 was the only train that gave a slightly rough ride, all of the other trains tracked smoothly but train 4 or 5 had grumpy speakers and I believe train 3 had restraint issues where they had to be manually unlocked. It's pretty intense all throughout which is why I prefer it to Crush's Coaster and the restraints are actually pretty freeing, the inversions actually give a slight feeling of weightlessness, lifting you out of your seat for a split second (especially the first inversion on the Sea Serpent roll). The more I ride Avengers, the more I like it, which cannot be said for Crush's Coaster. Update November 2022 [OUTDATED]: This to me was the worst coaster at the whole resort, it is rough, like the rattle felt way more pronounced than last last time and the headbanging... GOOD GOD, it was WORSE than on GOUDURIX, that's how bad it was. Heck, I even heard people say it was rough in Spiderman's queue. The theme is terrible, I can not wrap my head around how stupid it is, the Aerosmith theme fit this ride a lot better plus when you see what an amazing job Disney did with Guardians of the Galaxy, it is even more of a letdown. The ride felt faster than last time and the brakeruns didn't slow the train down so there aren't much dead spots but the launch felt forceless while even 3 months ago it was great. I mean Space Mountain's launch was better than this one and it's supposed to be the weaker one... I can not give this ride more than a 3/5 in its current state, it's just sad and I'm now of the opinion that this should get new trains as soon as possible. Just ride the other coasters of the resort like Crush's Coaster, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Indiana Jones, all of those are more enjoyable than whatever this is... Orginal review [OUTDATED]: This coaster, when it was known as Rock’n’roller coaster starring Aerosmith would have gotten 4 stars. In terms of layout, it’s good, while I know it is a controversial opinion, I personally like spaghetti bowl coasters. I love the launch, and I find the sea serpent quite intense. The ride does have some dead spots with the brake runs but the corkscrew always catches me off guard and the final hill gives some airtime. The first time I rode it in 2017 it was smooth-ish and it felt the same after my re-rides in August 2019. I rode it again this year after its conversion as Avengers Assemble Flight Force and I have to say while the building looks nice from the outside, the queue was okay, the animatronic was good but it all goes down hill from there. The countdown screens are just TVs and the ride is mostly in complete darkness with just a few projections of Iron Man and Captain Marvel through the ride + the ride now has a nasty rattle. Thankfully it is still mostly free of headbanging but it is also how I noticed the rattle. Overall the 3 year retheme is lazy and looks cheap when you compare it to the extremely detailed Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, add to that the nasty rattle and this is what brings it down to 3 stars for me… They at least could have gotten the new vest Vekoma trains.

First Drop Pace Fun Capacity Discomfort

This is the best coaster at the resort and saying that makes me sad. The first drop is great and the spinning, while not extreme, is always great fun. It keeps it's pace really well and the outdoor section is fun. The capacity is awful though, you will rarely get a wait that's less than 1 hour and even then it's probably still a 55 minute wait. Avengers was closed so I didn't get back to back rides to compare but this is better than what I remember from Avengers. Update November 2023: Well, I actually got to ride Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Crush's Coaster back to back and yeah, while Avengers is really good, this is the superior coaster. That first drop (in the main layout) is awesome and it tracks better than Avengers too. The queue can grind on you but it was managable when I went there. Update February 2024: This didn't impress me nearly as much as it did in September or November and I actually prefered Avengers this time. I don't know if it's because it didn't spin much, because the brakes hit more than they did before or because I had high expectations but, while it's fun and the first drop is absolutely amazing, it kinda dies at the end. The U turn is always forceful, and it exerts forward G forces, which is quite rare, the small wild mouse section is really fun but S bends after the U turn felt a little forceless this time, but the helix is still dizzying. The ride basically dies after that though, as it follows with a series of forceless turns. The brakes are pretty harsh too, they really shove you into your lap bar or sideways depending on which way you're facing and the lift hills have some jerky kinks at the beggining where the car comes in contact with the chain. The trains are also cramped as hell. I managed to get two rides, I waited 45-ish minutes to get on and at the very end at exactly 21:00, where I got on one of the last cars. Still, this was a little dissapointing compared to my previous rides. It's going down from 4.5 stars to 4.

Airtimes Fun Smoothness Too short Capacity

This is a glorified pirate ship. It is smooth, has some pretty good trains, some good kicks on the launch and some weightlessness on the spikes. It had a 50min wait almost all day, and a 30min wait at best. That was amplified by Crush's Coaster being closed all day. It still blows my mind that Disney even thought of adding such a low capacity ride at such a crowded park without at least doubling it. The ride being so low capacity of course means that the line moves at a snail's pace. Ride it if wait times are around 30min. You won't miss out on much if you skip on it though. Update Feb 2024: The line actually did move faster than usual yesterday and it was quite short, the airtime you get on this ride is also pretty good, though you only get it three times (on the max swings). For those who want to know, cameras (phones, GoPros) are strictly forbidden on the ride, even professionally mounted cameras like GoPros (at least hand, arm and head mounted ones). When they say, only items that are secured in your pocket come with you, they are the only things that come with you.

    Theming Fun Discomfort

Update January 2024: This is actually a pretty agressive coaster. It's not smooth, it's got a few transitions that are questionable, especially those on the first turn. A few more were pretty awkward but it was a bit more intense than I remembered. The brakes near the end didn't slow the train down nearly as much as on my previous rides so that ending seemed normal. The brakes are still brutal though, and the ride itself is pretty useless, with Pégase Express right next to it. I guess it's the smaller family coaster so it still has a role to play (maybe), and I just think the park keeps it because it's a people magnet for some reason (It gets waits around 30 minutes of the time during the summer and winter seasons). Update August 2023: This was quite a nice surprise compared to what I remembered. I rode it in row 1 and the transitions are actually really good and it's butter smooth. Some of the transitions in the first half are quite whippy. Discomfort isn't a real issue in the front part of the seat too. A better ride than Voyage Dans Le Ciel. The slow banked turns at the end are still awkward and the brakes are quite violent. Update October 2022: The roughness on this coaster is actually not that bad but the inline seating is definitely a problem. It is incredibly uncomfortable. I was behind my friend and he told me that being in the front part of the seat was painful, I even banged my head with him on one of the jerky transitions. Speaking of those transitions, they are taken so slowly at the end that you get pinned to the side of the train. The theming in the queue is a nice touch though. Ok, let’s talk about downtime. This coaster is always down at least once when I visit the park and this time and this time it broke down right in front of me. The problem this time came from a brake at the final brake run. This ride has weird banking. It seems as though it is not banked enough where it should be banked a little more and it is weirdly banked way too much at the end where it crawls through the final section. This ride is weirdly unique and charming in its own rights. I no longer think it’s one of the worst coasters ever as it is fitting in the park and I hope the park keeps it around for the foreseeable future and I don’t know how it rode before its retrack between the 2016 and 2017 seasons but I definitely think the retrack will help with keeping it around. I can overlook the discomfort and appreciate the oddly unique layout and it is a good fit for families who are not looking for huge thrills. It absolutely needs a raise in my rankings and I will give it 2 stars compared to the 1.5 stars that I gave it originally. Beware of the brakes though, they hit pretty hard. Original review: This coaster is one of the worst coasters I've ever ridden, its capacity is atrocious, I mean when I went there the queue stretched out well beyond the entrance. The ride has an unbearable rattle and the turns are extremely jerky. Of its brake runs is awkwardly banked to the right and the first brake run has booster wheels before it because the train dosen't have enough speed to make it up there. That just seems like bad design to me... oh and the ride is at least from my experience really unreliable, when I went there in 2018 the ride didn't even open from the park's opening to its closure. At least S.O.S. Numerobis, which is worse, doesn't have an hour of wait time. For all the people that dump on Goudurix, this is worse and I personally think Goudurix is more ridedable than this and I still don't undersand why Goudurix has a worse rating than this piece of crap, however i think this has three things that push it up to 1.5 stars for me: 1. This ride has no assigned seating, you can choose where you ride. 2. It's a uniquly weird coaster. 3. The theming in the queue and station is good, but when you're on the ride itself, it's got none when you're an the ride aside from a lazy netting over the lift hill and a sun a the end of the lift hill.

    Location Fun Rattle

I don't even know if this ride qualifies as a coaster or not but it was pretty okay. It's pretty unique as there is no lift hill, you need to push it up the incline by yourself which was pretty charming. The ride itself was pretty fine. It had a bit of laterals near the end but there was a noticable rattle and some uncomfortable moments but nothing to really complain about. It's also not listed on RCDB so while I do have it in my rankings and tops, I do not count this as a credit.

I just remember this ride being absolutely insane. I don't usually put "Inversions" as a pro but it definitely a pro for a wooden coaster. I remember that drop being a huge gut punch and that corkscrew being extremely disorienting. Then the airtime tthat came after that was insane. The directionnal changes were also really snappy from what I remember. I don't remember the rattle being awful either.

This is a great dark ride coaster. I think I might be overrating it a little bit but it's a fun experience. The theming is great but the amount of pre-shows is infuriating. Location Fun Too short Capacity Discomfort

This ride was neither good or bad. The definition of average. It is fun for the whole family, had one decent drop and some aggressive brakes. Seriously it was like Vol d'Icare. At least it had better transitions and didn't try to kill me like Roller Coaster Rowdy did so that's worth half a star more than those I guess. It also had some potholes but nothing too bothersome. I got a ride in the front part of the seat. Capacity was atrocious too and the ride was a little too short. At least it was nice being next to trees while riding. Update Dec 2023: After some reflection, I have to lower the rating from 2.5 to 2 stars.

Airtimes Intensity Hangtime Rattle Headbanging Harness

This layout feels relentless. It's got the perfect mix of intensity for its length, the launch is incredbly forceful and that top hat delivers excellent airtime. The pullouts and inversions are also quite intense. The hangtime filled barrel roll at the end also feels like the perfect way to end the ride, but those restraints are awful for that layout. A layout that intense and fast-paced just doesn't work with these trains. The launch is amazing but the train turns into a shopping trolley at the end of it. Seriously, the rattle banged my head pretty hard. It's not as bad afterwards but it's just there and can hit your ears against the restraints.

    Fun Too short

This is a worse version of Flight of the Hippogriff. A rougher, jerkier and worse themed Flight of the Hippogriff. It's not bad by any means, it's far better than #LikeMe Coaster, the trains are decent but a little cramped and the layout is fun for kids and families. However, I remember Flight of the Hippogriff to be smoother and less jerky, quite possibly because it's nearly a decade newer.

    Airtimes Theming Inversions

This is an absolutely incredible ride. Not quite up there with Toutatis in my opinion, but it's still excellent. That heartline roll out of the station already shows that you're in for a good time. I got five rides and I experienced all four of the cars. The hangtime on that roll is incredible up front. The first launch is punchy and really catches you off guard. It feels as though the cars start spinning fast halfway through it. If you're in the front car, you'll get extremely forceful and sustained airtime at the crest of the top hat. If you're in the back, the drop off of the top hat is incredible, especially if you experience it backwards or sideways. The following inversions (a banana roll, a loop and a zero-G roll) are extremly disorienting and have great hangtime. The second launch also has a good pop of ejector airtime halfway though. It's not as punchy as the first one but it still has some power. The step-up underflip is disorienting and, again, has great hangtime, especially up front. You get yanked down that second inversion in the back as well. The next hill has good floater airtime throughout the train and more forceful ejector airtime in the back car. The overbanked turn is fun taken sideways. The ending is perfect as well, the two pops of ejector airtime you get remind me of Toutatis' ending. The music is also perfect, but that name is stupid (doesn't change my opinion on the ride though).

    First Drop Smoothness Layout

This is a great GCI family thrill coaster. My first GCI as well, and the first thing I noticed is how smooth it was for a wooden coaster. The other ones I've been on are far from that. Tonnerre 2 Zeus has some smooth moments but also some rough ones and Elf was really weird: the drops are smooth, the pullouts are as well, but as soon as the train rises up, it feels like an earthquake. The airtime this ride has to offer is more of the weak floater variety, focusing more on twists and turns and it exceeds at its job. I honestly prefered it to Anubis because of its smoothness.
