    Theming Nice surprise! Fun

I know this isn't a TRUE coaster, but WOW! This ride is absolutely amazing, DEFINITELY the best on the Universal side. The theming on this ride is spooky and absolutely spectacular, and the ride itself is very fast-paced and fun with tons of surprises, not to mention, an awesome launch! With Jaws, Kongfrontation, and T23D all gone, this HAS to be the most advanced ride on the Universal side. It's a shame too, a lot of these great rides like this, the aforementioned, Nickelodeon Studios, Spider-Man, E.T., Jurassic Park, MIB, Back to the Future, we're never getting there ever again other than Velocicoaster and the Harry Potter stuff. Too bad that stupid Fast & Furious ride still exists! But in all seriousness, this ride is awesome, and it's so good that I actually want to come back to the Universal side now!

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun

I remember first riding this, I thought it was going to be awful and the worst thing ever. You can thank freaking Blue Streak for that! However, when I got off this, I was blown away with how much fun it was! Same for Lightning Racer. For its age, this ride is butter smooth. This ride also has amazing airtime due to the lap bars, and it is also so much fun! Unlike that stupid Blue Streak, this is a wooden coaster done right. I love Comet and Lightning Racer for restoring my opinion on wooden coasters, and I CAN'T WAIT to ride stuff like Mystic Timbers or ESPECIALLY El Toro!

    Nice surprise! Pace Fun Rattle

I don't give a crap about what others say. This and Comet were what saved wooden coasters for me. Before this, I rode Blue Streak at Cedar Point, which is currently the worst coaster I've ever ridden due to its roughness and lack of excitement and airtime. Riding this, I was expecting it to be the same thing. However, I was blown away with how enjoyable it was, same for Comet. This ride isn't extreme on airtime, but it makes up for it with its fast-paced nature and fun factor. Not to mention, this is the winning side. Unfortunately, this ride does have a bit of bumpiness to it, but it's nothing awful. Overall, Lightning Racer was a very nice surprise, and I would definitely recommend it if you're going to Hersheypark.

Nice surprise! Location Smoothness Dead spots

When I first got on this ride, I thought it would be rough and boring. However, this ride is actually butter smooth and has a fun loop with a fun setting. SooperDooperLooper isn't my favorite coaster, as it does meander a bit, however, it's still a very fun ride that will pleasantly surprise you.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Location Intensity Smoothness Too short

You know, they don't lie when they say it's great. I've been on two inverts, Raptor and this, and without a doubt, this is way better. Unlike Raptor which is rough, nauseating, and kinda intense, Great Bear is buttery smooth, enjoyable, and very intense. Or at least, you can actually appreciate the intensity. Not to mention, this ride is beautiful with its beautiful setting. My only problem is that the ride is a bit short, other than that, this ride is great! Definitely one of the best B&M coasters.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Masterpiece Intensity Ejectors

OH! MY! GOSH! This is the greatest roller coaster EVER! This MASTERPIECE makes Steel Vengeance look like doggie poop in comparison! This coaster is SO GOOD that I wasn't even able to ride it. Talk about a coaster being so good it's to good for you to even ride! You start off with a 1979 mph launch RIGHT out of the station straight to a lift hill. On there, you BLAST up the hill until you reach the tip of the hill. THAT RIGHT THERE MY LADS! That is where you get THRUSTED out of your seat! It feels like you're floating in outer space! RIGHT after that PANTS-CRAPPING first drop, you go through all these IMMENSE EJECTOR RADICAL HILLS, and inversions so snappy and forceful, you will turn into SLIME. After a millennium of all this, you FINALLY arrive back into the station, with your skin melted and spines eradicated from your skeleton, only to see your photos. Overall, WILDERNESS RUN! IS! The GREATEST ROLLER COASTER THAT HUMANITY HAS EVER ERECTED! AND DEAR CEDAR POINT! If! By any chance! You even DARE to get rid of this ride! YOU! WILL! GO! BANKRUPT! PLEASE! RIDE THIS NOW!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Airtimes Fun Smoothness Dead spots

This ride isn't quite the best B&M coaster that I've been on, nor the best coaster at Hersheypark. However, Candymonium is still a great ride. Candymonium is B&M butter smooth, it's very comfortable, has good floater airtime moments, and is overall just a very fun ride. Nothing absolutely mind-blowing, but a load of fun, and definitely one of the better B&M coasters.

First Drop Inversions Intensity Rattle Harness

This is an awesome ride. When I went on it this trip, I wasn't expecting that much from it. However, it had an awesome first drop and some great, intense inversions. Fahrenheit might actually be the most underrated coaster that I've ridden, as while others think it's good, I think it's great. It's not perfect though. Fahrenheit does have a noticeable rattle, mainly on the cobra roll, the harnesses also aren't that great on this ride. Those are cons that I can easily overlook due to how awesome the rest of this ride is. Whenever you go to Hersheypark, you MUST get on this ride!

    Theming Tear it down! Pointless

Ugh... Not this piece of crap. What can I say? Um... IT'S A FREAKING WILD MOUSE!!! Well, at least Primeval Whirl is dead, burning in heck. But that is still no excuse for how dreadful, pointless, and out of place this ride was. In fact, it was so bad that "the D word" had to switch the ride to SEASONAL OPERATION! That's like death without a funeral! This ride isn't really the worst thing ever. I'd still ride Primeval Whirl over the ABSOLUTE ABOMINATION! Known as Stitch's Great Escape (Which is my least favorite amusement park ride, ever). I would also rather ride this over some of the absolute worst coasters I've ever ridden. But it's still crap. Hey! We now have two terrible coasters that should've been destroyed by a wrecking ball that are now dead, this and Wildcat at Hershey. Well! TWO DOWN! NINE MORE TO GO!

Pace Headbanging Disappointing! Tear it down!

Look, I know that this was GCI's first coaster, I get it. But that still doesn't change the fact that this ride was TERRIBLE! The layout was quite boring and dumb, and the ride itself was rather stupid! The biggest problem! This ride was INCREDIBLY ROUGH! Not as rough as Blue Freak, but worse than something like Corkscrew. This was the only coaster at Hersheypark that I gave up on after ONE ride. Granted, as I said in my Corkscrew review, I used to copy everyone's opinions, so my memory on this ride is a bit limited, but it was still pretty dang bad! If I were to name something SEMI-REDEEMING about this ride, it did have good pacing. Also, this is one of two awful coasters I've ridden that is now dead. Wildcat's Revenge isn't open during this time, but I SURELY can't wait to ride it, and I bet 100% it'll be a million times better than this piece of junk. At least Wildcat did have some historic value though. Well! TWO DOWN! NINE MORE TO GO!

Airtimes Pace Smoothness Harness Disappointing! Tear it down!

Oh boy. After a year and a half of not going to Seaworld Orlando. I finally returned in 2023. This was the brand new ride that I was excited to ride. How did it turn out? Well, it was very smooth and had good air. But that's it. This ride, has the WORST RESTRAINTS! On a coaster! EVER! I mean! People complain about SKYRUSH'S restraints being bad but not ICE BREAKER'S restraints! These restraints literally try to suffocate you. The seats and restraints also cause the actual ride to be very uncomfortable. Ice Breaker is also a very nauseating coaster. The profiling is just too smooth where it makes me nauseous and my dad sick to his stomach, which is why this and Raptor are the worst coasters he's ever ridden. And SOMEHOW, this is a FAMILY COASTER! This piece of crap could make little kids HATE roller coasters. Honestly, I don't know how anyone could enjoy this piece of crap! This, Blue Streak, Wild Mouse, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, Manta, Iron Dragon, Jolly Rancher Remix, all terrible rides that should be destroyed by a wrecking ball. This is BY FAR the worst coaster at Seaworld Orlando, and the worst ride there. Mako is amazing, Kraken and Atlantis are good, Manta is bad, and this is just awful. If you go to Seaworld Orlando, AVOID THIS RIDE AT ALL COST! YOU WILL LEAVE GROANING IN NAUSEA AND PAIN!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

Theming Location Disappointing! Discomfort Tear it down!

Ugh... Look, I'm sorry, but... I don't like this ride. Now! Before you all get your pitchforks and torches out, let me explain. I can see the potential of this ride, as it has a very nice location, and a charming theme to a swimming manta ray. However, this ride has MANY problems that keep it from being good. It has terrible restraints, the whole entire ride after the pretzel loop is a dead spot, this ride has a very noticeable rattle, and this is one of the very few coasters to actually make me sick to my stomach. Just, not a good ride. I want to like it, but I can't. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if it got torn down either, in which it probably should so Seaworld can put in something ACTUALLY GOOD!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Location Launch Intensity

Even if this ride is no longer the king of Islands of Adventure, it's still an INCREDIBLE ride. Incredible Hulk is one of the most intense coasters that I've ever ridden, while also being a very smooth ride unlike other B&M loopers (Raptor, Valravn, Manta). This ride is also very thrilling, being the only B&m for a while to have a launch, and it's definitely a great one. This ride also looks beautiful as it jets out on the lake. This ride is definitely one of the best B&M loopers ever built, and I hope Universal doesn't get rid of Marvel, because if they do we would lose the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, and the Incredible Hulk Coaster!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

Nice surprise! Location Ejectors Rattle Lap Bar

Why on earth does everybody think that this ride is the worst thing ever? Yes, it is indeed a bit rough. Yes, the lap bars are very floppy. And Yes, the ride itself is outdated when compared to the newer hypercoasters. However, the pros of this ride FAR outweigh the cons. This ride is incredibly historic, it looks absolutely beautiful with a beautiful location, and the airtime on this ride kicks butt, even matching Steel Vengeance. To be perfectly honest, the roughness never bothered me. Sure, Magnum is a bit jerky, but it's definitely bearable and nowhere near as dreadfully rough as rides like Blue Streak or Raptor. Overall, Magnum XL-200 is a true Cedar Point classic that CANNOT be missed!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Theming Fun Smoothness

Holy cow! I know Hagrid's "Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure" is just a family coaster, but Universal and Intamin put the effort into making this ride go from meh to WOW! The theming is brilliant, it's buttery smooth, and it's SO! MUCH! FUN! Not only that, but it's also a very long ride, which adds to the excitement and immersion. My only problem with this ride is that the line can be quite long. Other than that, this ride is a wonderful experience that cannot be missed whenever you go to Universal. It's not quite as good as Velocicoaster, but it's better than Hulk. We salute you Hagrid!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Theming Nice surprise! Fun

Like Space Mountain, this is a very fun, smooth, and enjoyable ride. Big Thunder Mountain itself looks beautiful, the ride tracks very smoothly, and it delivers some nice pops of laterals and airtime. Overall, this is a good ride that must be ridden when you go to "the D word."

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Theming Nice surprise! Fun

Like Space Mountain at DL, this is a very smooth, well-themed, enjoyable ride. Big Thunder Mountain itself looks absolutely beautiful, the ride is rather smooth and has some good pops of airtime and laterals. Overall, very fun ride. It's a shame that this and Splash Mountain are going away. My entire childhood has been taken from my heart, crumbled into a ball, and exploded into millions of tiny pieces. R.I.P. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, 1980-2023 :(

Intensity Headbanging Disappointing! Tear it down!

Ugh, Jolly Rancher Remix is one of the worst coasters I've ever ridden. I will give it this, it was very intense, and you can appreciate the G's. However, everything else about this ride is just, so bad! This ride is very! VERY! VERY ROUGH! And the roughness and inversions causes extreme nausea. Jolly Rancher Remix was probably the most sick I felt after getting off a coaster, even worse than Raptor and Ice Breaker. Again, I don't know how ANYONE could enjoy this ride. Hersheypark is a near-perfect park, and they're SOMEHOW getting even better. They made a good decision with destroying Wildcat and turning it into Wildcat's Revenge. Now Hersheypark only has two coasters that need destroyed! Wild Mouse, and this! At least Hershey is getting rid of their bad rides and not shoving them in our faces like what Cedar Point does (Blue Streak, Corkscrew). And at least Hershey isn't getting rid of all their good rides unlike Cedar Point (Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister). Still, I hope this ride gets destroyed by a wrecking ball RIGHT NOW!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

Nice surprise! Location Launch Too short

Here's the thing, if this ride were at any other amusement park, it would be the best or one of the best rides there. However, since it was at Cedar Point, it was a complete joke and everyone hated it, leading to its closure. However, that still doesn't mean it's bad, in fact, Wicked Twister was a good ride. While Wicked Twister does have elements that try to make you puke like Raptor, that's not all the ride is. Wicked Twister has launches, speed, intensity, and smoothness. This ride was very unfortunately stitched between Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster, two amazing rides. However, excluding it from those, there was still a lot to love about this great coaster!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Headbanging Disappointing! Tear it down!

Ugh... I freaking hate this blue abomination that killed millions of innocent trees just to this blue piece of crap could be erected from the pits of heck. Oh Blue Streak! Or, Blue Stroke, or Blue Shriek, or Blue Freak, What do I say? Um... This ride is the ROUGHEST COASTER I'VE EVER RIDDEN! How on earth! Do people complain about Magnum XL-200 being rough! WHEN THIS PIECE OF CRAP GETS A PASS! LITERALLY! EVERY! SINGLE! PART! OF! THIS! STUPID! RIDE! IS! BONE! SHATTERING! ROUGH! Not to mention, this ride delivers absolutely no forces other than pain. Also, the seats and lap bars on this ride are ABYSMAL as well, even worse than Magnum and Gemini! Internet, Coaster Enthusiasts, General Public, please don't listen to these people. Avoid this piece of crap at all costs. Please Cedar Point, might I ask, why would you close two great roller coasters, and keep this abomination still standing. Cedar Fair Management! TEAR IT DOWN! I don't give a crap if this is your oldest operating coaster Cedar Point! You're oldest coaster has closed MULTIPLE TIMES! Switchback Railway! Leap the Dips! Racer! ALL GONE! So why not tear this ride down! It's not like anyone likes it anyways! Of all the bad/mediocre coasters at Cedar Point, this, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, Raptor, Valravn, and Iron Dragon, THIS is BY FAR the worst one! In fact! Blue Freak is the SINGLE! WORST! COASTER! I have EVER RIDDEN! In fact, if I COULD, this ride would have gotten absolutely NO STARS! This coaster is SO BAD that it quite literally almost made me hate wooden coasters. I don't go to Kennywood anymore that much and wooden coasters are rather rare. In fact, if not for Comet and Lightning Racer, I would've permanantely hated wooden coasters ALL BECAUSE OF THIS PIECE OF CRAP! And don't even think about retracking this pile of crap! This coaster is SO rough and SO beyond repair that there is NO hope of doing refurbishments to it. All we can do is just let it sit here, continuously torturing guests while the cool rides like Top Thrill Dragster are all gone. Dear Cedar Point, if you have the guts to demolish Top Thrill Dragster without any final rides, then you NEED to tear this ride down! I hope this ride gets destroyed by a wildfire without ANY! Final rides! Cedar Point! TEAR! IT! DOWN! Down! down! down!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

Location Smoothness Tear it down! Pointless Dead spots

Look, I know this ride is a family coaster, but my goodness is it stupid. Iron Dragon, or as I call it, Iron Wagon, what can I say? I will give it this, this ride is the smoothest of all the Arrow coasters in the park, and it has a very nice setting. However, this ride is very boring, dull, and stupid, especially when compared to the other suspended coasters. I have never been on the Bat at Kings Island, but I'll admit, it looks like a good time. The same goes for Vortex at CW. We also can't forget about Big Bad Wolf! Why did that one close but not this? Along with Corkscrew, this is another ride I gave up on after just one ride, it's too boring and always has too long of a wait. Again, I don't wish death upon Iron Wagon, but I think Iron Dragon has served its run and should be destroyed. At least this ride doesn't try to make you sick to your stomach though!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

Location Fun Smoothness Harness Dead spots

Why do people hate this ride JUST because it's "boring"!? Sure, Gatekeeper may not be as extreme as rides like Maverick or Steel Vengeance, but just because a ride doesn't try to kill you doesn't mean it's a bad ride. In fact, Gatekeeper is a great ride actually! It's very smooth, the valleys deliver some nice G's, the ride looks gorgeous with a gorgeous location, the keyhole interaction is very cool, and overall it's just a very fun ride. I will admit the restraints aren't the best, and the ride can be a BIT slow at times, but the pros far outweigh the cons All in all, Gatekeeper is a tame, but a great ride that appeals to everybody, and it is BY FAR my favorite Bolliger & Mabillard coaster in the park.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Nice surprise! Intensity Smoothness

Why is it that everyone thinks that this is the worst coaster at Cedar Point!? Just, I honestly don't get it. Rougarou isn't the best coaster at Cedar Point, but I still think it's very underrated and quite good, especially after my last ride on it. Unlike Raptor of Valravn, this ride is quite smooth and intense. I feel as if this ride's days are numbered since everyone hates it, so I guess I'll get my last rides on it.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

First Drop Rattle Discomfort Dead spots

Look, I know a lot of people love this and Raptor, but I'm not a huge fan of both. This ride does have a good drop, but its WAY too rough and pretty forceless. This ride really isn't that good in my opinion. Gatekeeper is much better.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Location Intensity Layout Headbanging Disappointing!

Eh, this ride is kinda meh. It is quite intense and looks nice, but it's kinda rough and kinda nauseating. If you like rides that thy to make you puke your eyeballs out, you'll like this and Wicked Twister. If your like me, this is one of the worst coasters at Cedar Point, but it's not a bad ride.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Lap Bar Fun Ejectors

You know, this is a great ride. I just don't get how this is over 100 years old and is still quite smooth while Blue Streak is only 60 and feels like it was built in the stone age! Oh! I know! Kennywood actually takes care of their old rides! Unlike Cedar Point! But in all seriousness, Jack Rabbit is a very smooth, airtime filled coaster that is a LOT of fun. Not to mention, it's restraints are very minimal. All you have is a seat belt and a bar on the seats to hold on to, so on that double down, you're EJECTED out of your seat. This is one of the better rides at Kennywood, and it should NOT be missed.

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Theming Fun Smoothness

I'm not gonna lie, this is a really good ride, especially for "the D word". While it's not anything extremely terrifying or thrilling. Space Mountain is smooth, fast-paced, well themed, and a load of fun. Definitely way better than the WDW alternative (ouch). If you still go to "the D word", this ride must NOT be missed!

  • Anthony Ricciuti

    Theming Tear it down! Pointless

Dude! Literally everything I hate about Primeval Whirl also applies to this piece of crap! In a park that has such amazing rides like Incredicoaster, Mission Breakout, Toy Story Mania, and ESPECIALLY Radiator Springs Racers. You got this piece of junk looming in the park. If "the D word" closed Primeval Whirl, why can't this piece of junk close too?
