Theming Fun Layout

This was one of my first coasters as a kid. I liked it a lot and rode it every time I visited Europa Park. My favourite part was the cave with its unique smell and the interaction with the log flume. It's a shame it burned down as the new version of Alpenexpress Enzian falls slightly off in comparison. That being said, it's not intense at all and the layout is nothing to write home about. A great ride for kids though.

Cool kiddie ride. Doing this coaster with Coastiality VR makes it fun.

Theming Too short Disappointing!

The layout is kinda mid, but you do get to run through it twice, I rode this before it caught fire, so that might be the reason why its rated low. The best part was when you run through the tunnel into the playground/cave and there are epic lighting all around you!

just a good family coaster,i rode it every time with the vr and it's very fun,without i thinks it's nothing special

Theming Location Pointless

A good themed powered coaster and that is it. The theming in the cave is very good and I like the interaction with the log flume. But I really don't get why they decided to rebuilt it, I think it would have been much better if they just built something completely different.

Theming Location Smoothness

This coaster probably was the first one I ever rode. When I was younger, those turns felt so fast! Now that I've grown up, this ride still has a special place in my heart. The theming was great, and especially the indoor part was beautiful. I have to admit, the ride is completely forceless except for the last banked turn, where you get a little of uncomfortable laterals. It's impressive how this coaster ran for nearly 40 years and still runs butter smooth. I was shocked to hear it burned down. A part of me wants to see the new version, but a part of me also doesn't, because I know it won't be as good as the old one, mainly for the missing indoor part and new themes (I HATE YOMIS), which is why I think it will leave me disappointed. Rest in pieces!

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots

Perhaps the best Mack Rides powered coaster (not including inverted ones) to ever exist, amazing theming in the cave and I love how it was intertwined with the walkthrough and the log flume. It also had decent laterals. So sad it burned down, I hope the successor will be just as good, rest in peace.

Fun, simple ride. I'm sure the new one will be better, but its still sad to see that this ride is gone. It was fun, nothing crazy, but fun nonetheless. Good theming though, going around logflume and walkthrough attraction if I remember correctly.

Too short

Sadly this ride is gone now. While it wasn't my favourite Mack powered coaster, it definitely was a fun experience, including a darkride section. It was the oldest roller coaster in the park but the lay out was quite simple and except for the aforementioned darkride part the theming was pretty basic.

Fun

Powered family coaster with the possibility to ride it with VR. I enjoy the ride without VR much more. Good for what it is but not more.

This powered coaster is so amazing! It isn't that intense, but the turns in this ride make it feel very very very lovely! The theming is also outstanding! Great work Europa-park!!

Theming

This is the best themed classic mack powered coaster I've experienced. And after all the theming and the indoor part really make this ride as the layout just is pretty generic. My highlight is by far the tunnel in the indoor section that features a neat light effect.

This is the best powered coaster I've done so far. Great family coaster. The capacity is not that bad but feels low because the rest in the park has a ridiculous high capacity.

One of the better constantly powered coasters and the cave was a awesome surprise honestly!

Very enjoyable family coaster. Two laps special. My favourite part of the coaster is the acceleration in the darkride section.

I only ever rode it with VR and that was pretty good. Fun ride.

Overall I like this ride: it's a pretty good coaster for families and children and the ride through the cave with the interaction with the flume ride is a nice feature. But with the VR Upgrade, the lines are often longer than before. The ride with VR is okay, but nothing too spectacular.

Theming Nice surprise! Discomfort

From the outside, it looks like a normal powered coaster but the special thing is the indoor part through the Zauberwelt der Diamanten (Magic World of Diamonds). If you don't know that, it's a nice surprise! The log flume also goes through this indoor part which is a cool interaction. But you can feel the age of the ride because some of the transitions are a bit janky. This is especially a problem when you are riding with VR because you can't prepare for the transitions.

Where did the dragon go ! It's still there in the mine walkthrough you can do, but if i remember you used to come very close to the dragon breathing fire on the ride.. shame they changed that.. Not really sure why they put the VR on here.. A classic from my childhood though! Can't go to EP without a ride on the runaway train (as we always used to call it!)

Too short Disappointing!

Very short ride which is why they also make you drive around twice. The parts where you'd get to see something in a cave you are going slightly to fast to see anything. No drops or major turns just a track that loops around. I feel like the only reason this coaster is still there is to support the new VR part which takes up half of every train so be prepared to wait longer for a rather slow and disappointing ride

The VR option is good on this ride.
