    Airtimes Pace

Wonder Woman is awesome. It has some killer airtime, and keeps its pace really well. It did run much more sluggish in the morning than in at night, but even the slow ride was still very good, while the night ride felt like it was trying its best to toss me out of my seat. Excellent coaster. Also, a decently themed queue by Six Flags standards.

    Launch Smoothness Too short Harness

Electric Eel is a fun coaster. It's not amazing by any means. It's pretty short. The comfort collars are annoying. But all in all, you still get a great inversion and some really forceful, whippy moments.

    First Drop Location Smoothness

Emperor is really fun. It's not a particularly impressive Dive Coaster in comparison to other dives, but the model as a whole is a fun line and Emperor keeps that going. Fun inversions. A great first drop. You can even make out Giant Dipper at Belmont Park from the top of the drop. Probably the best coaster in the park at the moment.

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Smoothness

This unassuming Mack multilaunch coaster is one of the stars of the park as it currently stands. Some great laterals. Several strong pops of airtime. A super smooth ride. Some fun theming. I had a blast on Manta.

    Location Rattle Too short Disappointing!

I expected more from this ride. The shoot the chutes style portion is kinda rough, and the coaster portion isn't forceful at all. The elevator lift tried to substitute audio for theming. All in all, I'm not really a fan of Journey to Atlantis.

    Duration

You get plenty of cycles on this thing. I mostly rode it because I had never done an SBF Visa spinner and there was no line. It's not a particularly great coaster. I'm glad I did it though.

  • Nathan F

    Fun

Steel Dragon isn't a particularly memorable coaster. It's a standard Maurer spinner. It's not a particularly great coaster, nor is it trying to be. It's just a standard spinning coaster, and that's still fun enough.

    Airtimes Location Intensity Dead spots

Ravine Flyer II is a phenomenal wooden coaster. Its setting is fantastic, going back into the woods and over a road near Lake Erie. This ride is intense. It's long. It does feel like it loses some steam towards the end, but overall it's still a wonderful coaster that alone is reason to go to Waldameer.

  • Nathan F

    Fun Too short

Comet is simply not a memorable coaster. It's very small and doesn't really pull any forces. It's always fun to do classic wooden coasters, but this is pretty underwhelming.

  • Nathan F

    Airtimes Intensity

Thunderbolt is very fun. My favorite of the three classic wooden coasters at Kennywood. It has some great laterals, and one moment in particular where the airtime was simply insane. It's on a larger scale than the other two wooden coasters, and it uses that to its advantage.

    Theming Inversions Capacity

Steel Curtain is all about inversions. And it does them really well. It's also got a Pittsburgh Steelers football theme that isn't the greatest theming in the park or anything, but executed well enough to be fun. Only running one train though, and that lift hill takes forever.

  • Nathan F

    Inversions Dead spots

I rode Sky Rocket first train of the day, so I admittedly likely got a slow ride, but it didn't look like it had really sped up much by the time I left the park. The hangtime on the top hat was great, and it had some fun inversions, but the second half of the ride was so random it detracted from the good first half.

    Fun Smoothness Dead spots

Racer doesn't do a whole lot, but for a nearly 100-year old wooden coaster, it's running really smoothly. It seems like it's designed so that one side will always end up winning. It's a fun ride, but not particularly impressive.

    Airtimes Intensity Too short

Phantom's Revenge is all about airtime. It delivers some of the greatest airtime I've ever experienced. It is a little on the short side, but what it does in a short amount of time is simply fantastic. Excellent coaster.

  • Nathan F

    Airtimes Smoothness Ejectors Dead spots

Jack Rabbit is incredibly well preserved. It ran really well. The double down is absolutely wild. The rest of the layout is not special, but that double down has such good airtime that it makes up for it.

    Theming Fun Capacity Reliability

Exterminator had the longest line in the park by far. Be warned. It also opened late and went down during my wait. That said, this is a fun coaster with good theming. It's a spinning wild mouse, so it's not an exceptional coaster, but it is very enjoyable.

  • Nathan F

    First Drop Smoothness Intensity

Valravn is very floaty and graceful. Nothing about it is super in-your-face. But nonetheless, it's a great coaster. The second half stands out as the slow zero g roll provides some solid hangtime followed by a fun floater airtime hill. It's nowhere near Cedar Point's best coaster or anything, but it's certainly a good one worth doing.

  • Nathan F

    Airtimes Inversions Masterpiece

This is the best coaster I've ever ridden. This ride delivers exceptional airtime constantly. The inversions are wild, especially that stall thing it does shortly before the mid course brake run. The pacing is relentless. As the ride naturally slows down, the elements shrink to keep the pacing up to par. This is hands down my number one favorite coaster and I can't recommend it highly enough.

  • Nathan F

    Inversions Rattle

Rougarou is fun. It's not a particularly fantastic floorless coaster, but it has some fun inversions. Ultimately, though, it's held back by a noticeable rattle. Not a bad coaster by any means. Just not particularly impressive.

  • Nathan F

    Inversions Pace Intensity

Raptor is a fantastic inverted coaster. I love inverts in general, and Raptor continues that trend. The inversions are powerful. The pacing is fantastic. It may not be the greatest invert ever built, but it's certainly a good one.

First Drop Masterpiece Intensity Dead spots

Millennium Force is the OG giga coaster, and they did a fantastic job with this one. The first drop is remarkable, and it sends you into an intense layout marked by airtime hills and overbanks, interspersed with some low to the ground sweeps. This ride is relentless. It does have a weird dead spot towards the end of the ride, but that's really the only knock on this exceptional coaster.

  • Nathan F

    Airtimes Masterpiece Intensity

Maverick is the most intense coaster at Cedar Point. It is jam packed with low to the ground turns, interspersed with some wild ejector airtime, a great launch under the station, and gorgeous scenery. This ride is truly phenomenal.

  • Nathan F

    Airtimes Ejectors Discomfort

Magnum XL-200 is a fantastic hyper coaster. It delivers some outstanding ejector airtime on the return trip. It's a little old and janky, and it shows, but I don't believe the ride could be as awesome as it is without that jank creating exceptional airtime. One of the standout coasters at a park with an exceptional lineup.

  • Nathan F

    Location Dead spots

Iron Dragon is not a very forceful or intense ride. There isn't a whole lot I have to say about it. It doesn't do a whole lot exceptionally well or exceptionally poorly. It's just kinda there. It's really pretty. I'll give it that. But mostly it just kinda fills out a strong coaster lineup.

  • Nathan F

    Fun Dead spots

Gemini is a very fun ride. It doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. The racing aspect is fun, and serves to make the dead spots in the layout more fun. It's not a standout coaster by any means, but it holds up well and you should ride it if you're at Cedar Point.

    Location Smoothness Airtimes Dead spots

GateKeeper is a really fun ride. It's super smooth. The inversions are great. It's really pretty to look at. It gave a great night ride. The major downside is it doesn't have a ton of airtime. And it's a pretty gentle coaster overall. But it does what it sets out to do very well. Not anywhere near the park's best coaster, but a very good one nonetheless.

  • Nathan F

    Location Rattle Too short Layout

Corkscrew is a really pretty ride to look at. The landscaping around it is beautiful and the corkscrews over the path are iconic. That's about all the good things I have to say for this ride. It's short. It's uncomfortable. It bumps around constantly. It's severely outdated and it shows.

  • Nathan F

    Fun Dead spots

It's an Arrow Mine Train. It's in a neat setting. Unfortunately though the most memorable thing about this ride was the birds making nests in the queue. The ride itself is pretty mild and not particularly remarkable. Not the best Arrow Mine Train ever. Not the worst either. Good supporting coaster.
