First Drop Inversions Smoothness Too short

Such an awesome Intamin that gets fairly overlooked. The lift hill gives you a really strange feeling, as you cannot pull yourself forward at all. Then you crest over the hill into a 97° drop, propelling you into the action. This coaster also has a Norwegian loop and 6 inversions. It's on the shorter side, but it's still a great ride.

    Nice surprise! Pace Intensity

Awesome GCI. It keeps an excellent sense of speed throughout and has a great layout. It's also very intense. The first drop is very surprising at it stops for a moment then throws you down. A must ride at KI. They have some of the best woodies around.

    Theming Launch Fun Dead spots

It's a pretty good ride for what it is. The launch was pretty powerful and there were some forceful moments. It's a lot more intense and thrilling than your average family ride. Especially the helix and the part when you are in the dark. It's a fun ride as long as you keep your expectations modest.

  • Solar Winds

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

An extremely intense and super fun ride. The first drop is absolutely bonkers and the transitions are insanity. It's like if i305 was a hyper coaster. The restraints are a major point of contention with this ride, but I personally didn't find them to be a problem. However, your milage may vary.

  • Solar Winds

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

The best wooden coaster that I've been on. The first drop is insane and the airtime is on a whole nother level. It's gotten a little bit rougher over the years, but it is still an incredible ride. You get this feeling of "I should not be going this fast on a wooden coaster". This is especially coupled with the fact that the restrains are just a lap bar.

  • Solar Winds

    Location Intensity Duration Discomfort

An absolutely iconic wooden coaster, The Beast still packs a punch all these years later. It's very long and provides some outstanding views. It's not all that smooth, but that just adds to the whole vibe. The second drop is also absolute bonkers.

  • Solar Winds

    Location Pace Rattle Layout

Overall, a pretty average ride. I found it to be a bit rough and boring, but I didn't hate my time on it. It provides some nice views and the second half was a lot more intense than I was expecting. Not too bad but not very memorable either.

  • Solar Winds

    Inversions Fun Layout

Overall, a solid floorless coaster. I wouldn't say it does any one thing exceptionally well, but everything it does is consistently good. It does lack some originality, and overall I prefer Dominator at Kings Dominion, but it's still pretty fun. I feel that it gets overlooked because the competition is so high at this park.

  • Solar Winds

    First Drop Inversions Intensity

The best coaster I've ever ridden. Hands down. I rode this in the back and the airtime was unlike anything I've ever experienced. There isn't a single dull moment. The drop is spectacular and it's like the third best part of the ride. If you go to Cedar Point and miss riding this, you're doing something wrong. RMC captured lightning in a bottle.

  • Solar Winds

Launch Fun Intensity Discomfort Lap Bar

The launch is incredible and it's a fun ride, but the restraints are some of the worst I've ever experienced. I got stapled and my thighs hurt really badly the next day. The lines are also usually fairly long because it's indoors.

  • Solar Winds

    Inversions Intensity Layout

A very forceful yet super fun ride. There was a tiny rattle but nothing that hindered my enjoyment of it. The twist at the end is nuts. Overall, a great invert and a must ride at Kings Island.

  • Solar Winds

    Inversions Fun Pointless

It's a decently fun ride, but it's lacking in originality. I found it to be pretty smooth, but if you've ridden any other boomerang, you know what you're getting yourself into. Also, you may end up sitting face to face with a stranger with the way the seats are arranged.

  • Solar Winds

    First Drop Smoothness Layout

This was my first giga coaster, and it was an amazing experience. I obviously haven't ridden any other B&M gigas other than this (Leviathan and Fury), but I really loved the airtime and the layout. That last floater airtime hill in particular was nuts. A great addition to the Kings Island lineup.

  • Solar Winds

    Inversions Smoothness

Awesome floorless coaster. The inversions are awesome and it's a very fun ride. My ride was also very smooth, and I didn't notice any rattling.

  • Solar Winds

    First Drop Hangtime Rattle Discomfort

I didn't find it to be nearly as bad as what other enthusiasts say, but it's not particularly memorable. The first drop into the underwater tunnel is pretty cool and there's some nice hangtime moments, but it's a one and done kind of coaster. There's also a noticeable rattle.

  • Solar Winds

    First Drop Ejectors Lap Bar

Awesome RMC coaster. The first barrell roll drop is a unique element and provides some amazing airtime. The whole thing is basically an airtime machine. The first overbank is a noteworthy element, but my personal favorite part is the three consecutive ejector hills following it. The restraints can be a bit cumbersome, but it's not that bad. A must ride at Kings Dominion.

  • Solar Winds

    Launch Intensity Layout

One of the best coasters out there. Extremely well designed and super intense. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but it's absolutely nuts. The second launch was also way more forceful than I was expecting. Please don't miss this one when you go to Cedar Point.

  • Solar Winds

    Fun Smoothness

A really fun coaster, especially if both trains are running. It's also extremely smooth for its age.

  • Solar Winds

First Drop Intensity Ejectors Rattle Discomfort

It's a bit rough, but it's still a must ride in the park due to its historical value. It also has a pretty great first drop and awesome ejector moments. I love the 80s space/futuristic vibe. It's almost always a walk on, so you can just marathon it.

  • Solar Winds

Inversions Location Fun Rattle Too short

Not that bad of a ride. It's not the smoothest ride in the world, but it still is decently fun. As long as you keep your expectations reasonable you should be fine. A CP classic for sure.

  • Solar Winds

    First Drop Smoothness

My favorite first drop on any coaster. I love how it keeps a true sense of speed throughout and is very smooth for its age.
